Thank you for watching and your comment. I’ve been through that area countless times and this was the first time I noticed the falls. It was an interesting place to watch trains. It’s been a bit frustrating of late as the maintenance of way crews are hard at work meaning a lack of trains during daylight hours. Please consider subscribing to B.C. Trains if you haven’t already. Thank you! 🚂😊👍🏻

For some reason I did not watch all of this video a monh ago. This is very beautiful country and needs to be preserved. Here in America, we take farm land and turn it into gravel pits (the area where I live is full of gravel pits) or build houses. I can understand the farmers point of view; retire a millionaire and never have to work again. But what happens when there are no more farms or the demand outsrips the amount of food the farms can produce? I'm sure this is done in Canada but we need to step up preserve God's beauty.

Welcome Rupert! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel by subscribing. Between Mission and Kamloops here in British Columbia, Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railway have entered a directional running agreement, sharing their respective trackage with one another. CP Rail track being used for eastbound traffic and CN track for westbound traffic to increase efficiency through the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. This agreement has been in place since 1999. In this video you see eastbound trains on CP track. The track with the slide tunnels on the opposite side of the river is CN track and would be used for westbound trains. It’s early spring and as it was on the day of filming, track blocks for maintenance and repair of the ROW are in place frequently. CN was repairing slide damage a few miles west at the time of filming.

Okay, I haven’t been able to find information on the construction of these hoppers but I believe the “dents” are consistent with the location of the walls between the three pockets these hoppers contain. The dents are more than likely the location of welds.
