  Nutella! I think it’s NASTY! And idk why. I like chocolate, I like hazelnuts, I have no texture issue with it. (Texture issues are the reason I hate mushrooms and boba, another really well-loved food) I also hate coffee, matcha, soda/carbonated drinks, apple juice, wine, flavored waters….

  I’m also an avocado texture hater. My boss (professional chef) puts it in chicken veggie soup. Small diced fresh avocado pieces in hot soup right before you eat it. It’s the only way the texture doesn’t bother me.

  Hey long time no see :) I've missed your videos and calming voice <3 Since you brought it up, I have suspected your son having adhd since he was around 2, I'm on a waiting list since last year to add the ADHD diagnosis with my Autism diagnosis (plus all the other neurospicy disorders) and you know the saying "it takes one to know one"? Yeah we have our own gaydar when it comes to neurospicyness and Archie's energy was really fun and a big tell and I do hope Australia is better at letting kids keep their big personality than most countries are. From what I've seen and heard I find him to be an absolute joy, much like his parents. <3 It's very often genetic too, I got mine from dad and one of my nieces got it from her mother. Another niece has audhd like me, but it could come from either parent and her sister is showing some signs but not as many as her sister. Sorry for babbling ;) I've never been fond of cake either, every time I had a birthday I got ice-cream instead, which is one of my big weaknesses. There are some cakes that I enjoy, like the Swedish princess cake, but my ARFID (an eating disorder) has prevented me from enjoying most cakes and so many different foods. It's understandable you've been away for a while with toddlers and Archie's coming diagnosis and life in general. I do look forward to more videos from you, it might spur me to organise all my doom boxes and fix my crafting area so I can craft again and get even more ideas from you :D

  My crafty pet peeves are white Signo or jelly pens that clog ALL THE TIME. I see you use yours and am jealous! Also, tape runners that break or are defective. Grrr Need more organization vids, help with getting my photos printed and in albums to be scrapped. My method is not working.

  Yes!! Cloggy white pens are the worst! I’ve finally thrown out the few that were in my stash that kept skipping on me. Ooo yes to organisation videos, I really need to give my craft room a deep clean/organise once Arch is finished school holidays and is settled back at school 🤞🏻

  Hi Adele! My crafty grudge is adhesive on my scissors! I can't stand it. I die-cut a lot, and I habitually use adhesive sheets. The adhesive just goes all over my scissors, and it takes a mission to clean it off.By the way about neuro divergent diagnoses, I ended up having to homeschool my little aspie and sent him back for year 10 - 12. Just haul out AC9; it's easy in the early years. The other option is schools of distance ed. As a teacher, I wouldn't go near the education system, it doesn't work for them.

  Arghhh yes sticky scissors are the worst! And such a pain to clean, I usually wait until I’ve exhausted all my pairs and they’re all gluey together to do a bulk clean #lazycrafter haha. That’s great to hear about your homeschool experience, I have been considering it greatly. The only challenge is that Vi starts school next year so not knowing whether to send her to school or do home? She wouldn’t enjoy going to mainstream schools without Arch. He had a few days off last term and we did some school work at home and he loveeeeed it. Stood to do all his writing, bounced up and down to get maths done and was so calm and excited to learn. Definitely something we are considering!

  @Inkiequill my son is doing well now at uni so it's worth a thought. Did you think about the schools of distance Ed? They accept children who have a diagnosis and it's best of both worlds - you are home tutor but they have a teacher & a class and things like camps, awards days sports days etc you can take them to. The teacher takes most of the paperwork and you only get the fun parts.

  I definitely need some inspo for project life. I have to start my 2024 book and I have little motivation. I also have a lot of vertical 4X6 sheet protectors to use up. Any ideas? 😊great page as usual… Arch is growing up so fast! Mine are 15 and 12 already! Lol

  I’ll have to have a look into it, I go through so much tape that it’s handy having a roller type and not just a plain roll of tape to peel backing off.

  I actually can’t do monochromatic, lol! If my page looks too blendy, I naturally go for contrasting colors to make it all pop! I do LOOOVE this layout, so I’ll have to give it a go and see what spin I put on it. Also, I love how you printed out your journaling and made it into strips…totally going to do that!!! And I know this is an older comments box but I only recently started PL and looking for all the tips you can offer me! 😊❤️
