I love Paul Washer and this is a powerful message, but it’s sad that if he really believes in Calvinism like he says he has to deny this verse. Calvinism directly contradicts this and says that he did not die for all. I’m reality many godly men like brother Paul are just confused Arminians and not Calvinists for the preach as of Christ really did die for all just like Paul did.

The closer you walk with Jesus - the more & more the spirit of God will convict you of your shortcomings and lead you to seek victory in your life. The further you are from Him, the less conviction for the way you are living will you receive, leaving you comfortable in your lifestyle of habitual sins. Jesus Christ is like a mirror, the closer we approach the mirror the more we can see our true selves. While standing far away from the mirror our imperfections are hard to see, many even hidden - but the closer we approach it, the easier it is for us to see our spots & blemishes, some that we probably never even realized were there. This is the same way the spirit of God works in our lives regarding sin when you place your faith in Jesus Christ and walk with Him daily. The things we used to be comfortable in doing, sinful activities we were living in and never felt bad about doing, now all of a sudden are targeted by the spirit God for us to stop doing and the conviction is present. Feeling conviction for sin is a great sign that your faith is in the right place: which is what Jesus Christ did on the cross to save us from our sins. Conviction and the opening of our eyes to things that God wants us to remove from our walks is a sign that the Holy Spirit is truly working in your life. Jesus died to save us from the penalty of our sins, but He also died so you and I can walk in newness of life, daily growing little by little into His image. Don’t ever think because your saved that God will allow you to get comfortable in your sin.... quite the contrary. The spirit of God working inside of you will lead you to recognizing sin easier and easier, the closer we walk towards that mirror - which is our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The Word of God says “whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” - if we want to grow on our walks, we need to draw closer to Jesus and step back from the things of this world. Put down the tv remote, and open your Bibles, instead of spending time on social media - spend time in prayer. As the convictions we receive from the Holy Spirit come to us, we ultimately still are in control and have free will to decide how to react to these convictions. Jesus is seeking a relationship with us, where we place Him above it all, above all of the things of things of this fallen world. The Holy Spirit may be convicting some of you reading this that it’s time to get serious about your walk with Jesus Christ - and I pray these words are used as an encouragement for us ALL to do so today! God bless!

Stop being preoccupied by sin, seek His Spirit and learn to be led by Him. Sin is not an issue with God as those who follow the Spirit cannot sin. Evangelicals are possessed by the doctrine of sin, God is not, if anything He has made the way to go rather simple (John 3:18 -21). Moreover His conviction of righteous is far stronger. And that is probably because He loves you.
