Hummm...as a business man, could there be another reason - a hidden reason - why he is opposes the education system? He makes some good overt points for opposing the education system but could they possibly be some covert reasons...does it make the human aware? And is a person being aware, even in the smallest amounts, a danger for the billionaire businessman?

I have had this mindset for years... if I was financially strong enough I would have different schools all over my country. Then again with the government in SA signing in the Bella Bill wn education we are completely screwed with future education here.😢
Partially r8 that kids should learn based on aptitude & above all at speed that suits their brain digesting speed But u cant write code w/o STRUCTURE & same applies to EDUCATION.
Public education is built to support an assembly line of mediocrity. Kids excelling get held back and Kids struggling get left behind. You are left with a bell curve of meeting expectations students that are memorizing books.

It depends on where you start. Whether or not you should go to college. You will learn at college but the things you learn for free and on your own are the things that you should pursue. If you are forced to learn subjects that you wouldn't normally study, like in college to obtain a degree, you won't necessarily retain the things you are learning but you are persevering through something less than a satisfactory situation. Purpose is everything. My life has lead me to nothing simple self preservation. It has no meaning. So he's right. Education should be overhauled but its created the way it is to sacrifice life and creativity for obedience. Which wowuld lead to a strict hierarchy that those born in an adventagous will benefit from. But the down side is that competition leads to an even greater ruling class and not the other way around. When things are too easy, like success, it will lead to degradation. Like a king playing chess with the people he rules and they always let him win in order to manipulate him into liking them. Or even worse a king that enjoys yes men. If i was King i would want to present a thesis and have one advisor expound on my idea and one argue against it. And then switch positions next time, if all that were possible.

I also believe that, but people force you to send your kids to school, cause everyone else I doing that, they question you that you are a bad parent, though you are not, I also personally hated going to school, despite the fact my school was the best place. But still I didn’t like to study from anyone. I liked to learn things myself. At my own pace. I hate being lectured. Sometimes I couldn’t even concentrate on what teacher is telling me. Sometimes it felt like a waste of time. Basically as I grew up in my teenage my attendance dropped to below 60% and there was a warning issued by the principal. So the point is that schools, colleges and coachings are good only if you want structure. But children should never be sent to school. Atleast till middle school, no. Their childhood is completely wasted. From 7-4 they are stuck in that jail to study and they can’t have fun. Can you imagine? Trained like a mouse with bells, this is a time to eat and this is a time to study, like what the fuck. Children are meant to have fun and just meant to enjoy and taught stem subjects only for some time like an hour or two, in a day. Just let them be. Enroll them in extra curricular classes instead.
Well he is wrong, school made doctors whom they are today, research keeps getting better. Stop using bill gates whose father was not poor to deceive people with speeches of Bill Gates didn't go to school. He didn't just pop from the blues, he had basic education . School taught us how to read, that's why I can type this.

well 50/50 why how could a student respect thier teacher he is just a teacher you know it you been once a student so you know it
completely agree. I'm planning to put my child in a similar set up and when i saw the school mentors video its exactly similar to this. kids should love school. it shouldn't be a scary place to go to/ toxic place . make learning FUN.... thats how you will always remember what you have learnt.

I've always find it odd that all these hyper successful people who tell the masses that college is unnecessary, they themselves have pursued college qnd stacked degrees upon degrees.
This is visionary.
Learning what is needed for a successful life requires a great deal of time reading, researching, note taking, taking extra courses. While working and possibly looking after one or more children, who can find the time? As the clock is ticking and I am getting older, I would have liked to have had an education in school that I could actually use in my life.
The why is so important for students. I was the best in my class at math until high school when everything became abstract and couldn’t be given any relation to the real world. “Why do we need to know this?” - “Because it will be on your test” I nearly failed math because I couldn’t get an answer for the reason behind it. Now I can spend hours writing complex excel formulas and watching videos about geometry because I found out that it related to statistics and probabilities/variance of REAL WORLD events. I really believe my teachers genuinely didn’t even know there was any relation to anything in the real world. My English teachers made me absolutely hate reading by spending months dissecting meaning from a paragraph where none was intended. Now I read an average of 2 books a month on my own because I actually care about the topics (ironically mostly educational topics I should have been taught in school). I took Spanish classes for 12 years straight and can’t speak it fluently. After 2 months of studying Japanese on my own I reached a similar level to my 12 years of Spanish training. The only classes I could always effortlessly ace were science classes because there was little that could be done to sabotage my understanding. It’s hard to divorce chemistry from the real world.

😂😂😂He didn't get the cane beating like us. Our teachers were so ruthless that, they used to punish us for smallest things. Those useless ladies were dumb and used to get less marks that, they got admission in BA to become teachers. Abuse was their second name.

These phone we use to distract could be used to teach children. Don't have to be a phone or something they have to carry in their hands. They could wear it in some manner.. Every child could have their own personal AI they could evolve together as it were. Are we being willfully blind to this right infront of us? Perhaps start creating a method in which those who see the potential or are already home schooling their kids would be a good starting point. It is hard to imagine their aren't some already testing this method. We can streamline it and keep this corrupt government out of the loop. Also we can continue to educate ourselves as adults and should be anyway. And here is the real benefit to everyone could basically be free. Just a thought

I hate teachers, specially principals. They talk a lot of shit, act like our children would be loosers without them. I hate them. And they act how they help children. But in reality children study a lot of nonsence, and they are too strict... i hate them period.

In my 4 years of college, all I did was "upload something before the deadline". I am free now, I have started learning from now. I think it's time to get a different perspective
