DEI is not going anywhere. It is just going underground for a spell and come back with a diffrent hat.

What's really sad about UE's "research" is presenting the evidence solely thru the lens of a business perspective. What he ultimately fails to understand is that DEI is not the product of a failed business practice, IT IS the centerfold of businesses willingly losing profits in exchange of subsidized propaganda.

I think one of the reason this got so far was like back in the 80s perhaps. It was normal for companies to push 'feel good' groups to show they 'care' Like helping to feed protesters in trees, or fun whale watching inc. There was money in guilt money a long time ago. Which was why companies giving money to protestors even as they literally burned franchise buildings to the ground was not really met with any open disguest, it was already normalized.

When corporations run something, it is to their own benefits, not for the society. Corporate leaders tend to be psychopaths, people renowned for having no empathy, and lack of that is what makes them the least loyal people around, they side with you, only to turn against you if your enemy gives them a better offer, then betray them once their offer is worse than the next group. They even go for offers that look good, even tho there are no guarantees for the future, a sort of stupidity, but they're the types willing to make bets. People who think corporations are good, because they sides with them at the moment, are very infuriating kind, yet also the stupidest and short sighted. There are no good guys, only temporary allies of convenience, ready to betray each other at the moment it is most beneficial, or looks like the most beneficial

PORNHUB had a tizy fit and banned texen IP and plastered "texas is banning porn help us poor billion $$$ industry that takes advantage of woman across the globe please ignore the 80% content removal for SA and unverified ages of the actress in the videos".

Fun fact: The guy who shot at Prince Charles was using a starter pistol and apparently had no intention of actually killing him, but rather was trying to draw attention to some pet cause that he had which I can't remember. He served several years of jail time, was let off for good behavior, then went on to turn his life around and is now working as a somewhat well respected lawyer. It's a really weird story all around. I don't quite know what to make of it.

Ahh... so McKinsey didn't "lie" they just "mislead". That makes it all better. Also, I think it's important to point out that in the 'culture war', these ideologues are the smaller force. They're louder, sure, but they know they can't win a fair fight and that's why they are opting for guerilla tactics like 'decentralization'. That's all BRIDGE really is; the intentional effort to decentralize DEI efforts to make it harder to pin down and push back against.

Since I don't know where in the discord one would leave a comment such as this I think I'll leave it here instead. Matt Walsh talked today about companies dropping DEI staff and initiatives in a way that seemed to insinuate that it's a win. So I dropped a tip to the DW crew to look up BRIDGE and, if they can overcome their bias, get in touch with you to discuss as you seem to be the main person trying to shed as much light on it as possible. Figured at worst they'd ignore the tip, at best they'd at least look into BRIDGE themselves and claim credit, which will still draw more attention to it.

The fucking idiots at 2h in are making so many layer deposition work/"3d printing" mistakes its insane. No wonder they are working of idiot logic in needing 10+ years of experience when they themselves didnt even get to the basics. Hell the fact that they are doing entirely lines and 90 degree turns already means the main part of the job of controlling the line rig (or the crane/arm attachment after putting it on a rail around the premise) should be done by machine as then you wouldnt have the visible layer shifting AND could program in a randomized seam with wipe motions (you know, the same wipe as would be done by hand for the rim when connecting premade sidewalk blocks with concrete). Or even better, scrap the shit and improve it as modular home parts by demand instead of preset dimensions. That way you could have a lubed modified metal frame holding wood supports angled properly, could add reinforcing meshes in the middle of the walls, make them as thin or thick as you want and could do the layering fully horizontally or slightly angled depending on if its supposed to be a multi-level building or just have base and first floor for stress resistance and directional strength. Why even use a layer fusing deposition as a method if you are not using ANY of its actual engineering advantages.

While I didn't get the sense that this upper echelon guy was intentionally malicious, misleading or otherwise 'playing for the other team', he did come off as being.. well, naive. His supporters, at least what kirsche is showing, seem to think he's clever, and maybe he is, but he should probably stick to basic science or history or whatever neutral topics that a naive, well-intentioned midwits can cover somewhat accurately.
