    Repentance has a short life span - and so does gratitude.

    It's always easy to repent when we're at rock bottom... then we get lifted up and forget all about making good on our vows.

    The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. :-)

    Well, I tell you what, even Elijah, who just saw the awesome power of his God, freaked out when the full force of what it meant to have Jezebel as your enemy hit him. You need a lot of faith to speak truth to power in the face of destruction.

    @@cakohl Thanks for the daily reading. It makes it a LOT easier to learn than reading by myself. For anyone interested in reading the entire bible, they don't have an excuse for not doing it this way. 🙂

    What stands out to me about this chapter is the that God is referred to as fire like the burning bush in Exodus. Just thought that was Interesting. God Bless.

    Those were strange times - God allowed all the quarrels and the wars against Israel to take place. Odd.

  • @cakohl
    @cakohl9 ай бұрын

    I would say the quarrels and wars come from our sinful nature. Living in peace, obeying God's will, is always His goal. We're the ones that want to fight. Since we're inclined to it, God will use Isreal to punish the sin of the Ammorites. He'll use the Assyrians to punish the sin of Isreal.

    Genesis 1 is Lucifer and the fallen angels. Only one Gospel: The Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels (ELOHIM) unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of God.
