After working in Singapore for 10 years and investing in the Philippines, we had to decide: move to Canada, Australia, or New Zealand (and sell our investments), or return to the Philippines to enjoy and grow them. We chose the Philippines five years ago, and with a better work-life balance, we've grown our investments. My advice to fellow Filipinos: ensure your passive income covers your expenses before moving back. This gives you the freedom to pursue your interests without worrying about running out of savings and needing to leave again or take a lower-paying job.
💯 agree

I am working as a nurse for 8 years in Dubai. Uwing uwi na din ako. 🥹😭😭. Praying for Pilipinas 2025
thank you for watching and the comment. Ingat palagi 🤗❤️
yep, sad reality 👍
Life is an Illusion! In default we are all dead beacuse we are heading in that one direction, thereforevwe are all equal at end. I believed that one of the basic reason why there is exams is beacuse everyhing is limited not beacuase it is hard to learn.

Akala niyo purket mayamang bansa walang mahirap. Maraming Hindi nakakaalam Sa totoong nangyari Sa Pinas. Sa sinadyang pagsabutahi Dito Sa nakaraan. Kung Hindi Sana nasabutahi ANG Pinas maayos Sana Ngayon ANG pamumuhay Ng MGA Pinoy.

I am working a good job in the UAE. I plan to migrate to Canada but I'm thinking hard because of some news that life there in Canada is different nowadays. I have a dilemma now whether to pursue my Migration to Canada or not. Can you please give me an advice. Thanks
I have never worked in UAE so i can't compare. But I can tell you what my friend told me when she migrated to Canada. She's a nurse in Saudi and moved to Toronto. 1st thing she told me was it was expensive to live in Canada and it's easier for her to save money in Saudi. But she stayed and now have a family, she's also a Canadian citizen now. It all comes to what do you want? In Canada you can become a citizen and enjoy the benefits. But again I don't know anything about UAE, so I can't really tell. Good luck to you and God bless. 🙏😇🤗
cost of living is low in the Philippines and your salary is MUCH MUCH lower didnt match the expenses, here in germany my 1 hour pay is enough to pay 1 good meal in an average cost, Malinis lahat dito, Schools & Universities are free! Health Care is 100% covered - Unemployment coverage is good, transportation with a car or public transport are great! I can't risk to be a Software Engineer in the Philippines, dito i am enjoying my 6 weeks paid vacation. You should Priorities the Future of your kids, i dont credit personal choice if you have kids - they have a better future in Canada than in Philippines
thank you for watching and the comment.
kaya nga, i have decided to sell all the Properties in the Philippines - i lost my parents during covid puno lahat ng hospital and you cant go to another city, they got stucked and died.. kaya dito na lang ako sa Germany, i have found out na sa aabutin ng mga napundar ko at nang parents ko, i can actually buy a good size Flat here in Germany (i dont want house ayaw ko ng may garden) 1 in Spain and Italy so di gaanong malamig in Winter time nasa south spain / italy is 18 to 19 and rarely 14 during winter.

Sa States, night shift, 60 ang patients ko, up on my feet the whole shift making sure nobody is dying in their sleep, making sure the diabetics have enough sugar and not die of hypoglycemia, makeing sure those with dementia and couldn't sleep don't fall out of bed, answering to bells of patients with many different needs, do their treatments etc., etc. I only have 10 minutes of eating break and not once slept on my shift, let alone watch Korean novelas. Swerve no naman sa Canada, "peteks" lang.
yeah depende sa unit. I also picked up overtime sa ibang ward and it's busier.
Corruption everywhere. RED TAPE in govt. 2. Very very very very few modern infrastructures. 3. Wala tayong modernong transportation at airport 4. Mahina or walang internet 5. Nawawalan ng kuryente (brownout) 5. Mahina or nawawalan or walang tubig 6. Nakawan at kikilan sa NAIA airport 7. EXPENSIVE accomodations 8. Illegal squatters, street dwellers and beggars everywhere, particularly children asking money from foreigners. Tapos sasabihin natin "Its more fun in the Phlippines" ??? Nakakahiya ! Tourism will boost our local economy kasi foreigners spend money in our country which helps our local business to earn more. The local and national government MUST do something to solve/fix these problems.
valid points thanks! 👍
Keep doing what you're doing Salee. Your video will inspire a lot of people.

Gusto ko pong mag Canada for my family. The education and health support is the main reason. At feeling ko sa trabaho in other countries you are valued base sa what you can contribute or skills you have, not because san ka nag aral o sino ang backer.
Nursing Career is one of the most difficult job in the world 45% they are unhappy and burn out.
Mdrsming homeless sa canada at na i vade ng i disns ang canada

It would not be feasible to go back to the Philippines with young kids. Philippines is ONLY GREAT for BALIK BAYAN retirees. Save up and enjoy retirement in the Philippines and enjoy the nature and sea. Definitely not going to live in Manila for retirement, maybe gala gala lang but live in the province.

I always tell people that are feeling lost to set a goal to save $50,000 ($20K back in the 80s). Once you have that cash there's a feeling of accomplishment and confidence and your options suddenly multiply. You can either start a business, invest that in the stock market or move to another city or country that has better career opportunities. I chose the latter as I wanted a place where there are low taxes and be able to advance quickly. I bought a one way ticket out of Canada to Asia so there was no going back. With the money I saved I was able to survive the first two years adapting to a new place and I took it from there. Get two, three or four jobs to get that $50,000. From my experience, my World opened up once I had that cash. No Risk it, no Biscuit
thank you very much for the insight 👌🙏❤️ yep that's true, you've got lots of choices and opportunities if you have money saved up.
Kayo din ung sa pikoy db po
yep dabirdkad 👍🤗

here are some reasons kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYptrM2KcdWzfZM.html
living in the US now for 2yrs at ngayon bakasyon sa pinas, alanganin tlaga kami kung mag green card ba kami kasi nga pwede naman na uwi nalang kaso while here sa pinas sa hirap ng mga tao sa paligid mo maiisip mo tlaga na dun nalang muna til kaya pa, at tama po kayo mam , matagal na din ksi kaming living abroad dubai then US nakakahiyang sabihin na magiging maarte ka tlaga dito, kalalaki kong tao trying to still blend in sa usok at alikabok para lang di msabihan na mayabang at eto na nga may sakit na ako dahil sa alikabok😂
thanks for sharing your story... i hear you. actually same here, nag aallergy na rin kami sa init at alikabok 😅
@@salee_talks habang nandito ka naman naiisip mo yung kita mo doon, lalo cguro kayo kaso nurse kayo ako nga sa resto lang work at wife ko naman is teacher, pero sa 2yrs namin honestly madami nako natutunan lalo mga namatayan ning covid aa amin sa Bohol, my point is sometimes you wanna go back not for yourself pero para din makatulong ka sa mga need ng tulong mo, kaya malabo akong yumaman😂👏
yeah actually mapapaisip ka talaga. it's nice to have options.. whether to go back or not to go back.. or just visit or not. it's actually the kids who wanted to go back na kasi they miss snow na daw 😅 and namimiss na rin sila ng mga lolo't lola nila.. but we'll see. Enjoy lang every moment. Ingat kayo and God bless 🙏😇
😂 Then hirap pa tumawid. Hehe! Vacation na lang sa Pinas. After 2 yrs. Plan namin every year na uwi namin. May asikasuhin muna na another business sa Canada or Investments.
haha mismo.. 👌
Aware ako sa mga cons sa PH pero being in the Philippines outweighs all the cons haha

Been there done that. Permanent residence status din ako 35 years ago, I availed early retirement from work. As I get older at tuwing uwi ko every year (2 months holiday) since my retirement, I realized kung sakaling magkasakit ako sa Pilipinas during my stay, kailangan pala laging may ready akong pang-downpayment sa hospital bago ako suriin pati na yong pambayad ng hospital bills after. I swear napaka-sarap sa Pilipinas but I am not hypocrite to say kailangan ko pala ang libreng health benefits ng Canada lalo pa kung senior and not so healthy
