  what if we wanted to show the Technology value in the view but not in the filter. Ultimately I want the Technology value to always be toggled ON and not allow it to be toggled OFF by the user

  A Parameter can only have 1 value at a time, you could create all sorts of combinations in the parameter and use a CONTAINS clause to use it

  Thank you for this video. Do you know if it's possible to add an "ALL" option to dynamic date parameters (where I check "When workbook opens" option and select a date field from my table)?

  If you are filling your parameter from a field then the only way is to union your table and with 'All' as date and null the rest out, this way you'll get your value for "all" and can use this in your calculations.

  Is it possible to use this method to sort pie charts created using multiple measurements? For example, When I construct a chart using measurements a, b, c, and d that make up the cost of product A, I want to sort by the most important measurement among measurements a to d, but I keep failing.   Do you know a way to create a sort order for multiple measures? For example say i have 3 measures, i want them all to be sorting in descending order. The idea is that measure 1 will be descending with a sort order of 1. Then if there are multiple values in measure 1 that are equal, it will check the values in measure 2 and sort those in descending. Then if measures 1 and 2 both have the same value, it will sort in descending by measure 3. I can't find anything on this online and thought id ask

  @@dawaronline i found a way, make the measures discrete, add them as columns or rows or whatever to the dashboard and then sort them one at a time. Then make the measures continuous again and reinsert them a second time in ur sheet. U can hide the headers of the ones u sorted originally so there arent duplicates, and it should accomplish what u want fundamentally.

  Actually yes, if you concatenate the 3 measures as string it should be possible to just sort by the 1 measure.

  Hi and thanks so much for sharing this, very useful. I have a similar use case you may be able to help. let's suppose that I want to hide Technology from the filter selection but at the same time I want to keep Technology always in the results. Using a duplicate of the filter to EXCLUDE is an easy one but how to manage to always INCLUDE an option in the results without giving the user the option to select/deselect it in the filter options? Thanks to anybody who has an idea 🤝 I already tried using SET . This is indeed excluding the wished option from the filter options but at the same time it removes it from the view.
