While I love the Omega Collection, especially the reintroduction of Van-Über and Tigron, the lack of custom soundtracks was a glaring omission in my eyes. It's what gave the original HD/Fury so much longevity for me, with EDM, trance and techno playlists, as well as compilations of every Wipeout OST up to that point. I even made special playlists for Zone mode, with beat drops lined up with certain zone transitions. edit: I'm aware it's the fault of the hardware and not the game itself, just saying it's a shame.

The first Wipeout game I ever played was HD/Fury on ps3, afterwards I got Pure and we already owned Wip3out that I hadn’t tried by that point. All of them are amazingly fun, with Omega Collection it feels like 3 different games in one easy-to-play package and is by far the best racing game ever.

having 2048 on the Vita with the HD/Fury expansion is almost like having the Omega Collection on the go. the only difference is the soundtrack and the lack of the extra Van Uber and Tigron ships. that pre-order special edition that came with a miniature floating ship sounds sweet af. thank you for your amazing videos on this series!

Great video, very well executed. Except I disagree with pretty much all of it. Breakpoint was, and still is, a disgrace to the Ghost Recon name. Ghost Recon hasn't been itself since GRAW and GRAW2. Breakpoint did not add a single piece of content that felt like the old Ghosts were back in town. But the video itself was very well made. Great footage to show the points being made, personal preference combined with objective fact. The game looks great and sounds great, definitely agree with those aspects. Just hated the open world aspect, the looter shooter aspect (even if you can turn it off now), the survival aspects, all of the side activity. This simply is not Ghost Recon.

This game is not even comparable to the other one can't remember what it's called you fight the cartel, play this with your mates for the best experience or even solo your still going to have a far more realistic experience than whatever the other one is, my eldest son is a commando in the royal marines I play this with him and some of his mates from the unit , no comparison.

The cardinal sin TDU2 did on TDU1 is to make you unable to tune your car with a body kit. In the OG, you could tune the 350Z into a NISMO S-Tune, but in the sequel you're locked into the car you bought. No Saleen packages for you Mustang, no NISMO tunes, and your Supra will always remain vanilla.

Ahh, I once played this game. I was never able to get past the first AA gun mission since the stupid sensitivity was set to insanity. I touch the control stick, the gun starts spinning wildly. No clue what the problem was.

It's 2024 and I'm only just discovering all the Wipeout games before the Omega Collection, including Pure and Pulse. Let me just say that I'm floored at the quality of the PSP titles. I can barely wrap my head around the fact that all this ran on a handheld from 2004. Including online features. I had no idea this was possible at the time. On a Steam Deck, even hooked up to a TV, both these games feel absolutely modern. Uncanny!

Physics point sounds bad, design feels more like Star Wars Racer, but the forgiving and fare part made me intrigued. For me any game, or at least any sport/racing game should threat bots and players as equals. In real racing series there are literally champions with single win, and even in Indycar a champion without a win.

in Wildlands the main reason to me that made the game more tactical shooter is because the AI's UZI and pistols has 100% Accuracy when firing at you from 500 meters away, so you're forced to kill all enemies at the same time to avoid dying.

kinda better, still a lot of issues - small minut details though also the story and dialoge is beyond shit if you want a futuristic scenario where youre up against automated tanks, apcs and an elite pmc then this is your game also they added a functional active camo from future soldier, unlike the cosmetic failure that was its previous itteration in wildlands
