  Mio dio. Intenso e struggente. Un modo unico e inarrivabile di interpretare questo che in fondo e' un motivo semplice, intorno al quale questo immenso genio del piano e' capace di costruire semplicemente l'infinito.

  Questo pianista è di una sensibilità raffinata, unica, inconfondibile. E' più penetrante e struggente della versione di Bill Evans. L'alternarsi di alti e bassi, il prolungare o accorciare ogni nota, i tempi e gli stacchi, le variazioni del tema intorno a cui costruisce semplicemente l'infinito, fanno di questo immenso pianista jazz il più grande in assoluto di tutti i tempi.

  Curvo-me respeitosamente, perante o grande artista, pedagogo, violinista, concertista, que foi Vasco Barbosa. Com o seu desaparecimento, Portugal ficou muito mais pobre, mas ele com o seu valor, libertou-se das leis da morte. Para mim, como também para qualquer violinista, Vasco Barbosa deve ser, e, é, um marco incontornável. Respeitosamente Paulo Costa.

  My profesor was Nada Engl-Nikolich and she was in the same classs of Andrija Preger with Ivo Pogorelich !! I am so happy for that!! He is extraordinary pianist!!!

  É verdade que os trajes da Yuja Wang tiram-lhe um bocadinho o ar sério. Mas dizer que os pianistas asiáticos não têm jeito para a música clássica... Ou é preciso ser surdo ou idiota (ou então as duas coisas). Por muito que admire o S. Costa ou o A. Pizarro, ao lado dela são insignificantes

  Quanto rispetto per la musica!!! Ogni sua esecuzione ha il sapore dell’evento unico e irripetibile. Oggi nel concertismo le cose sono molto cambiate…tendenzialmente in peggio. Grazie Maestro e grazie per chi ha postato questo prezioso documento. 🙏🏻

  Osservo la gestualita' misurata di un grande direttore e la confronto con lo scomposto agitarsi di altri direttori che non sanno dare le indicazioni all'orchestra in modo efficace e suppliscono con movimenti spesso inutili e comumque eccessivi.

  This version dethrones whatever I've heard to date. Is it the clarity of sound or just Martha & Claudio & the orchestra? Perfect speed, most versions drag it ritartando & don't seem to understand the hormonal buoyance of Beethovens youth, Beethoven was YOUNG when he composed this. Thanks for the upload.

  Beautiful piece of art but does anyone else cringe at the cymbals at the end? Why do all drummers do it at the end of piano ballads? It sounds so cheesy
