Pls make a vedio on DA 40 full cockpit familiarization?
I nerd your help
Used to fly cruise with a little flap extension to bring the nose/attitude down. Little faster too. Well a little less slow. Such an exceptionally clear day with this video. It can get rather nasty on the route frequently. And all the smashing around above the east coast of florida while getting vectors for a 30nm final at one of this congested airports.
slow as molasses
Did you check for no Glow Plug CAS?
Twisting a key to start an engine? How weird and counter intuitive! I challenge anyone to show an example of twisting a security key to actually start an engine.
A great take off and landing & talk back, l always like this kind of video whare you can hear the pilot talking to the people in the control tower, well done lads - great video very enjoyable.
The beautiful island of Puerto Rico 😍
After watching this why would anyone bother flying with avgas engine.
Ah, then you never had the sense of pride when you succeed in firing up a hot fuel injected 6 cilinder and hearing that glorious sound at idle…
Ah yes, I remember…
This is my favorite plane in MSFS and I really enjoyed your descriptions of flying it IRL. Subscribed for more of your great videos!
Great video! I used to live a couple of blocks from Ft. Lauderdale Executive. Became a Private Pilot in 1975 and used to fly the Islander in the Caribbean with a friend flying from San Juan PR to Culebra, St. Thomas and St. Croix. I love that little plane!. Due to health reasons I no longer fly, I'm 69 Now. But you can be sure I fly the Islander in the simulator!
As somebody who recently got X-Plane 12 and the BN2A videos like this are truly inspiring for flight routes!
I believe these are powered by an AE-300 diesel engine.
But it uses jet a-1 no?
@@pattyburger9603 Jet A is highly refined kerosene (also diesel fuel)
Amazing I wish I could fly that aircraft’s
Parabéns pelo vídeo, pilota na chuva com facilidade e tranquilidade. Faz favor, para que serve este aparelho branco que esta perto do para-brisa do avião.
Thank you ! This is Stratus 3 ADSB Antena. It works with Ipad Foreflight Software. Thanks for watching!
This strip reminds me very much of one on the other side of the world at Lamen Bay in Vanuatu. That strip also ran alongside the sea, the Pacific Ocean. I flew in and out of there (as a passenger) and other bush strips in Islanders and Trislanders in the mid 1970s when I lived and worked in the island group then known as the New Hebrides. The most evocative content of this lovely vid is the unmistakeable engine sound of the Islander.
As easy as a smal car.
Nice trip. Tks for share.
Thank you for watching !!!!
Cuiaba is the hell in the Earth... hahaha
Very good documentary!
You must fly to São Paulo next time. And what about the brazilian food?
Did you like Brazil? Did you try "caipirinha" drink? I'm a brazilian from São Paulo.
One question: why don't you use the checklist on your flights?
Uau... I feel as I am in the cockpit with you!
Nice video... fantastic travel... incredible aircraft... I'm gonna watch the other parts now!
Very nice!
Looking at this now is surreal, these testing and stuff.
Why do you cruise so high? For safety over water?
mainly to take advantage of stronger tailwinds, to stay cooler or just for a smoother ride.
I wonder why VS and not FLC. (Not questioning you. I'm not a pilot so I genuinely wonder why.)
Great :) So strange feelings I have to look at pandemic things today 😂 Thanks for you videos :))
You guys do overnights too?
This was a very nice long flight in the beautiful DA62. surely i enjoyed every segment of your trip. Is this how you make delivery? could you not remove the wings, pack it in a container and put it in the cargo plane and deliver? Instead of making the Engine suffer such a very long trip of 7,000Km. What is the price of a new Engine for DA62 if its due for replacement?
Hi, No it doesn't make sense to remove the wings and ship in in the container. The only planes that are shipped like that are usually small, single engine planes that can't make the journey to places like Australia. Japan or New Zeland, even with the bladder tanks installed. Its actually much cheaper to fly than to remove the wings and ahip itbin the container. Also, a lot can go wrong when you remove the wings, you clhave wing spars, hoses, fuel tanks etc. So every time its possible to fly to a destination- its a NR 1 option.
@@MarekMarciniak Thanks for the reply. I am about 5,000km away (HUEN) and my order is loading for the DA62. We shall talk off line.
@@juliusouma4474 let me know ! [email protected]

Panie Marku proszę o więcej filmów jak Pan lata Diamondem-Da-62 po Stanach i nie tylko . I jak dostarcza Pan klientom na całym świecie Te piękne maszyny -Rodem z Austrii.
25 years ago same, but in a 402, and based in FLL…! Thanks for the memories!
You bet!
Beautiful plane... but must be a nightmare dealing with air traffic control in those parts of the world.
What a amazing 9 legs you had, I would have loved to been there in the right seat with you, thanks for sharing your journey with us and can't wait to see more of your content.
