  I have a question for all ups types....if a ups is plugged in a wall socket and the pc and all that are connected to the ups being used....do they still charge while being used?

  is it okay to charge ups throughout the day while using the pc?

  As far as I know there are types of UPS which the expensive one has its own line when you're using a wall socket, the battery remains in stand by mode because the UPS will run in plug in mode, but when the power outage occurs, the battery will take over. This type is really expensive because the battery isn't being charged when a wall socket is detected.

  im confused... i thought a ups was supposed to keep your pc on when the power goes out but doesnt unplugging it and plugging it into the ups just turn the pc off already, is there no way to keep the pc on the whole way, my ups only stays on for 15 minutes btw, so is there any way i can set it up to where my pc is always on even after the power goes out
