Sweet!
Sweet!
Liked this bc someone out there is actually riding, and recording HTF trails.. good on ya!
Sweet!
Its really 1"-3" dust on crust but in NE that's a win lol. Love the loaf!
The east never gets enough snow.
How's the upclimb here?
Not bad other than a few sections that go straight up a work road... One thing that is nice about DB is where it drops you back out is above the most tedious part of the climb.
lovely trail to get first tracks, but the trail is possessed by demons and is in fact evil. the rocks are haunted and like to fight people.
the only fixed grip lift that's able to go at a faster pace than someone skiing. I find it funny how an older lift goes faster than everything built these days!
Well this lift was rebuilt fully in 2007. So it's only fair to compare it to other fixed grip lifts at least that new. Also being that it only loads one person at a time you're not going to have people screw up loading almost ever...
@@mybadvideos that is fair, although I do believe that it also ran at 600 ft/min before the rebuild
Is that left or right of the Gondola?
Skier's right but off of a different peak basically. Goat is off of the Fourrunner. It's on skier's left of the Fourrunner.
Ahh the good ole days when we used to get snow in Mass and southern VT. 🙃
Sweet!
back when BEast actually got snow :( their glades are legendary when they're open
Best terrain south of Magic!
"There's a big set of plans for here." They happened, and some liked it, others hated it.
Yeah I don't like all the changes at this point. I think the best was the first two years after this lift went in before they sanitized a big chunk of Mittersill.
Nostalgia
You still have your "sound effects" in a 11 year old video haha
Dude I love this trail I can tell how happy you are❤😊
Love white cap Mtn at Sunday river
HE'S GOOD
In 1981 I skied that in 30 plus inches of fresh powder with a pair of 210 Volkls. Jumped over the fence in front of 2 guys waiting. Didn't stop until the Starr cross over.
Been skiing at Sugarloaf for 25 yrs. The best conditions I've ever sen on Ripsaw. I wish I were there.
I wish I had gotten there about a week later with the crazy early April snow!
Jay has some serious experts terrain. I wonder why it doesn’t get the rep. like Stowe, mad river, and sugarbush do
So Sweet!
This is beautiful
The lake is super pretty too. One of the deepest lakes in VT if I recall!
Are you going to check on Stowe see if there’s still plenty of snow I bet there is
I think I'm done other than Killington at this point!
@@mybadvideos wouldn’t Stowe still have either liftline or nosedive ?
@@jackricketts7025 Nosedive at this point would I suspect be the only thing left (and not full length) - possibly some woods next to it high up - not worth my effort now given how good the mountain biking is getting. If I get in one last day at Killington I still hit 94 days for the season! :)
@@mybadvideos how does nosedive last longer than liftline??
@@jackricketts7025 more snowmaking and it faces away from the sun
Churches have cemeteries! LOL Nicely done!
Sweet!
Yay biking season! I can’t wait to get out
Kingdom trail map is so busy it’s hard to follow where you are. There is soooo much there
It took a few seasons for me to get a real sense of the place. Now it's almost too familiar - I've been riding there regularly for about a decade now.
That’s a funny looking pair of skis. And the snow…it’s brown
Smooth like butter
This is white heat?? Maybe it looks steeper in person....................
GoPro effect makes everything look less steep!
Thanks for all the great videos this season!
If only they got enough snow to really cover it
It's more interesting to me when skier's right is gnarly :)
Awesome there’s still that much of a snowpack. I miss jay so much. Would mob the mtn with friends as a UVMer
This was April 15th look at the video notes
People give Colorado resorts shit for closing early, but if it’s going to look like this, might as well just send peeps to the higher elevation neighbors
I'm hoping that next season Sugarbush really pushes to run the new Heaven's Gate lift until closing day. The coverage up at the summit of Lincoln Peak on Organgrinder and Ripcord still looks decent now, even if it is now getting discontinuous. It would take a commitment to blowing more snow up top, on Downspout, and on the runout back to the lower mountain runout (Jester to Coffee Run). Maybe a top of HG version of the Superstar Glacier?
Other than how thin it was at the bottom of Coffee Run, things were actually looking pretty good for beginning of May at Sugarbush!
