Just discovered the Sister, she is all of what people say, she is the Mother. Soul, rock and roll, the blues, country, those who live there now surely walk in the path she made. Terrific post.

Had to look up this song after watching his Hunting & Conservation in Park Cities speech (he talks about this song specifically and what the memory meant to him). What a great tribute to his dad and their last hunt together.

One of the very rare folk- psychedelic albums from 1973. Private, Limited 200 album release. Mike asked the cover designer for wierd, but did not expect this.He tried to get it changed but it was rushed to press. Thanks for posting this!!

I was watching Duke Dumont Live in Ibiza 2015. He is a Dj from the U,K and he had the crowd going crazy with his mix of Dance Classics from the 90's and beyond. Awesome Set. I also love Hot Since 82 another Dj from the U.K. Love all his sets. Check it out.

OMG! an extended version of Captain Sensible Say Wot! Awesome! I just flew back from GDL, Mexico and this song was playing at a bar while I was sightseeing. Beautiful City and the people are very welcoming, I want to fly back there ASAP. People in GDL were Rocking to this CLASSIC in my book.

Ella Fitzgerald sang “Rock it for me “in 1937 one year before her. And the boswell sisters created their song “RocknRoll” in 1934. Sister Rosetta was part of the flow that’s all. She has not created RocknRoll.
