This was a stock run! Had some stock size summer tires and OEM-style pads. In a newer video, I went a good bit faster with some minor suspension mods and a brake upgrade

Eventually, yes. Unfortunately, I don’t live in Germany anymore, so won’t be any Nurburgring content. But I still do plenty of track days, and I have a few project cars that I’m gonna start building in the next year. I sold my Mustang though, so I don’t really have any exciting cars to make content with right now. Once I get my new Mustang, I’ll get to work on making some videos 👍🏻

So badass. I'm thinking of picking myself up a 3v Vert as a project car. I know they're not the fastest but with suspension/blower it should be plenty fun. I just sold my C6 to my father because my 3 year old can't ride in it :(

Crap rear suspension, wishbone. The new ones (2015 plus) have fully independent multi link rear suspension, like Porsche and Ferrari have. The 2015 plus Mustangs are real sports cars. Before 2015, they were poor handling muscle cars

Adam Siegel yeah, there was a yellow flag just before it, so we were afraid they were going to make us skip Carrousel, but the flag ended up being terminated before it and we got to hit it 100%

I can get on the 1/4 mile strip and the local speedway (oval) but there's nothing that isn't either a straight line or constant left turn. I must shamefully admit looking on google maps for particularly windy roads out in the middle of nowhere, but unfortunately society thinks I'm an adult so I can't do that shit. =(

R8R 4LIFE in terms of physical layout, Nurburgring is one of a kind. But there ARE road course tracks all over America. Typically, it’s about $200 for a full day that includes food, classroom instruction, and an instructor ride-along to give you pointers. It’s called HPDE, and if you go to motorsportreg.com you can find all kinds of events near you

Jaime Acosta yeah man, it can definitely be unnerving, and the fact that the car had the original 10+ year old tires and brakes made it even worse. If you look at my channel, I eventually did some minor work to the car (wheels/tires, springs, dampers, brakes) and ended up cutting the time down to an 8:30 in pretty crappy conditions. With more time on that setup (only ever did 3 laps with it) I probably could’ve broken into the 7s, but I ended up selling the car for a 2018 GT

Vedad1944 Mustangs aren’t the best daily drivers. Fitting more than 2 people is a chore, they’re bad on gas, can’t fit much cargo, and mine was awful in the snow. But they’re EXCELLENT weekend/performance cars! My mustang is my weekend car, right now my daily driver is a Ford Escort until the new Bronco comes out

I sold my 05 GT, but now have an S550 GT, as well as a heavily modded Ford ZX2 and an RB swapped 240sx. I’m thinking maybe early next year I’ll probably start my vlogs. I won’t have too much content this year because work will be keeping me busy with all this virus stuff going on. But feel free to subscribe so you can be ready when I make more videos!

Take a higher apex in the curves. You are hugging the inside of the curve throughout and it is slowing your time through it. Spend a little time with an instructor in the passenger seat. It will make a huge difference. I worked for law enforcement for 22 years and we had to run high speed courses every year.

I really enjoyed this vid man! Just a smidgeon of advice: get on the accelerator a little faster coming out of the curves. You have excellent hand position on the wheel and of course more practice means better times. You looked like you were having fun.
