  It's a pity you didn't move the microphone closer to let us hear the sound of the lightsaber. The same in your other videos, the microphone was too far from the lightsaber and the sound was additionally drowned out by your comments. Thumbs up anyway, you did it quite nicely. By the way, this lightsaber is currently on sale for £162 and mine is on its way, so I will be able to feast my eyes and ears on this lightsaber in person.

  Why lower your standards in order to advocate for a dead franchise ? Star Wars has become a political soapbox and it is surely not in line with the creator's vision. Sorry lads it just confounds me, how such a terrible scripted, directed and edited show actually sees the light of day.

  It’s a fair point, I honestly don’t think it is a dead franchise though. I can’t see Disney going anywhere or selling it on anytime soon though ultimately numbers won’t lie I suppose, the only way Disney dumps Star Wars is if it starts costing them. As for it being far from George’s vision, I mean that is what it is when you’ve sold something and given rights away. Again, not a Disney defender by any stretch of the imagination, but it was always going to have to move on, and George knew this, that Star Wars had grown bigger than even him. I just hope they do pull out some great stuff in the comings years, I’ll still cheer and hope for that. And admittedly stuff a lot better than The Acolyte for sure. Appreciate your contribution ✌️🤟

  People have been too tough on Disney, I enjoyed a lot of the Disney content, most the stuff people say is "terrible" is really "meh". But this show is garbage, I'm sorry. I don't understand your take on people not saying what's wrong with it. People are going into detail everywhere. To grade this as a 5-6 is wild, That's what requires an explanation. This is a 2 at best. And far off brand for the IP. I think you're trolling for attention. Is that the case?

  No trolling for attention I can assure you of that. Not sure if you watched the whole video, appreciate it is a pretty long one and time is money, but we did kinda outline some of our thoughts as to why we’d give the show that current rating. I think to some truly dire things I’ve seen in the past and comparison wise, I wouldn’t say the Acolyte was as bad as those. Also at this halfway point, is it the worst piece of Star Wars media produced? I mean it may be, it’s definitely the weakest of all the shows made so far imo (Dave). And hey, as we say in the video, maybe we are too easy going dudes, maybe we should expect more?! And I don’t know if we were clear about this in the video, but we also have no problem with people hating it, calling it terrible or garbage, everyone has a right to their opinion and ours was we just don’t see it as bad as seemingly everyone else does. Having said that, (I honestly normally wouldn’t review something until the end but we felt it was worth discussing after that 3rd episode) come the end and where it goes and what it entails, we may also end up saying, yeeeahhh that was pretty bad. But I honestly hope not! Either way, thanks for contributing to the discussion in a fair and non trolling way ✌️🤟

  Thanks!! Yeh have noticed a lot of the lightsabers have gone on sale in recent months - maybe sign of the times they’re not being as sold as quickly as they used to?

  ⁠​⁠@@MudhornCantinaYeah i agree with you it’s still a lot of money and less people these days can spend that sort of money with bills and priorities etc I think £277 is a great price for a great item and will definitely be a top collectors item for Darth Maul fans or just Star Wars in general it’s your video that made me go ahead and grab one so thanks will be subscribing

  Coming from me thats currently finishing up Dark Empire after completing the thrawn trilogy, yah acolyte is pretty bad. In writing and story that is.
