Don’t diminish your talent! You may not the best player of Hollow Knight and you don’t know ALL the secrets of Hallownest but you finishing the game at 112% in so little time for the first time is an achievement! People say that Hollow Knight is one of the most difficult game out there, some finished the Pantheon or the Path of Pain after months of play and some gave up. Congratulations for these amazing streams!!!

Could you do terror and starvation with all four main characters as the party but NO ONE can lose a limb, you cant use anything to protect limbs from being cut off, you can still use armor it just can't protect from dismemberment Guarding is allowed

DMC's gameplay is fun, it's the characters & story that kill it for me. It just reeks of early 2000's emo culture. Peak of combat isn't a game. It's an exercise in tedium.

I had some ideas for challenges. 1. Fear & Hunger but everything is a coin flip. 2. Fear & Hunger but every time you fail a coin flip you die/have to fight a really hard enemy/boss. 3. Fear & Hunger Companion (Little girl, Moonless, ghoul/skeleton, Party members) only. 4. Fear & Hunger but you can only use equipment you get from Empty scrolls or random drops (no certain items)

Personally, save scumming is a way to deal with the anxiety or stress of resource management. Either time, items, HP, or my own energy. It’s generally not a choice between playing an easier (lazier) way and playing a more difficult and challenging way - it’s usually a choice between playing at all and not playing. It’s also just because I don’t know the most reasonable reset points - I reset basically any time I lose a limb, because I don’t know or don’t have access to any ways of dealing with that penalty. In this video, you reset whenever the yellow mage took off a leg at an early stage where you knew you had to lose one of your limbs. The better your game knowledge, the easier it is to play the game, the easier it is to learn more about the game. Lesser game knowledge means a harder time doing anything in the game, meaning the harder it is to experiment and learn about the game, meaning it’s way harder to understand when to give up on something vs when to try it over and over. Idk if all that made sense but basically, cheating a little bit makes it easier to play and learn the game so that you can choose whether to challenge yourself more after getting some experience
