I'm just a guy that loves gardening, chainsaws, lawnmowers, and basically anything with an engine. I even work professionally on fighter trainer jets. Me and my wife are preparing to set up a house on a few acers of land that we co own with my sister and brother-in-law. I also assist my father on his ranch with upkeep, firewood cutting and wildlife management.

chain was not sharpen enough, but the 3510 still finished the job
Does it have a magnesium case or plastic?
Plastic.
I have an echo 620 and a 490 looking at picking up 3510 for my girlfriend. We were looking at the 2511p but the price is a little more then we wanting to spend plus the 3510 looks a little more durable and versatile but is all most 3 pounds heavier then the 2511p.She ran the echo 490 and wants a lighter saw 3510 only 2 pounds lighter then the 490 on paper .I guess what i am asking do you think the 3510 would be good for my girlfriend she 5'2" weight a round 110 pounds or spend extra for the 2511p .I add it just a saw that be in her vehicle in case a tree comes down on are property the avarage size tree is between 9" to 16" but we have had a few over 24" come down on are road .
Good morning James. So far, the 3510 has been the lightest saw I have run. I do not have any experience with the 2511. It would be a lighter saw but the 3510 is almost 10cc's bigger so I would be willing to bet it has more power. It has been a reliable saw for me and has yet to give me any issues. I use it on average 2 to 3 hours at a time and has yet to wear me out from the weight. I believe it only comes with a 16" bar so technically you can cut up to a 32" tree. I think the biggest tree I've cut with it so far has been a 16" mountain cedar. As long as you let the saw do the work and don't force it, it has good power. In the end I would recommend this saw. I hope I was able to answer your question.
@@lordconan100 Thank I think we're going to pick one up .
Have you done any mods to this saw?
So far, I haven't done any mods to this saw besides leaning the high-speed adjustment a little. I left the limiter caps on so I wouldn't go too far with it, but it did pick up a little speed and power.
60 inches
I haven't measured it yet. I think I'm going to this weekend. I'm going to say closer to around 48" to 50".
Mantap mesinya bro 👍
I have the same same saw, and the same wood. Doing cuts just like you. I found that a skip tooth, full chisel chain with Billie's Baby C filed into it is a lot faster
I'm looking at getting a 24 inch bar soon and will be interested in trying out a skip chain. The saw is also starting to break in good and might do some adjustments on it.
The 24 in bar is nice, you will like it
Open up that muffler, it will run a lot better for you. I have the same saw
I've been watching some videos on that. I might have to do it.
