This channel is dedicated to all my Toyota Shenanigan's. You might get a random vlog, or you might get a DIY on something random. you never know what's going to show up here. A little bit about me. I'm a certified Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician, certified Lexus Master Technician, Master certified ASE Technician, and a Certified Honda Technician. It all began when I was 16. I got a used piece of garbage 1993 Geo Prizm (Toyota Corolla). It was my very first car. No matter what happened to that car it always kept going no matter what. It never left me stranded. All my other friends had other makes and models and they were always broken... so I was sold on the Toyota brand. After high school I went to college. I switched majors a couple times but ended up with my associates in Automotive Systems Technology. somewhere in 2009 I started at an independent shop. in 2010 or 2011 I started at Toyota and that's pretty much how its been ever since. Except in 2015, I spent that year at Honda.

Hey I drive a 1991 Toyota Tercel.... PLEASE help me find some nice and cool rims!
You should be able to find anything your heart desires on the internet. Just do a little bit of research before hand like joining a tercel group on Facebook and search for wheel specs. Once you find the specification of wheels that you think fit well you can just google those specs and wheel after wheel will show up.
@@Tylerstoyotas thanks for the insight
Those japonés Word say Toyota celica
Cool!
Thanks, this video show us how to take it apart step by step.
No problem. I’m glad it helped
With all these keys I look like a damn janitor😂 comedy gold right there
😂
are fog lamp eazy to get for this model or do you half to go after market
Fog lamps are very difficult to get for this car
did the manual transmission come with the engine if not which model is it from . by the way love paint job did you do it by your self
The transmission is the standard equipped transmission that came with the car from the factory
good night is your manual transmission a five speed or six speed .
5 speed manual transmission
Jay from FB. New follower so keep em coming. Thanks for your help with mine bud. 🙏
Not a problem, dude!
Did you know it's any different with the costume headers??? Are they 4 to 2 to 1 or 4 to 1???? Thanks in advance and Thanks for the video it helps me a lot
Noticed absolutely no difference. They’re 4 to 2 to 1
Are there 2 connectors (or just one) on the back of the stereo?,we cant see them in the video. Btw my car a 97 corolla (rhd australian spec) sedan has a white plastic locking tab directly behind the square storage compartment below the stereo panel. 😔😔 I discovered this after several hours of frustration & vulgar language! 🤣🤣 All u need to do to find it is reach around the back of the console & feel for it & then push the tab slightly upwards until the panel that holds the cig lighter socket comes undone 😉
There is the antenna, and two other connectors behind the radio.
@@Tylerstoyotas thanks needed to kmow as im buying a wiring adaptor for my new stereo 😉😉
Precioso auto sin duda, me encantan los Station Wagon, especialmente los Toyota Corolla!! Saludos desde Zarcero, Costa Rica!!❤
Thank you. It’s one of my favorite body corollas.
My trip meter stops working after 20 years
Sounds like it’s time for another one
I wish ford ones where this easy
🤣
Honestly, if you don't already know this, you have no business under that cover lol.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Some people just don’t know. Like on a Lexus, you have to remove covers that utilize these clips in order for you to top off fluids. My mother is capable of topping off fluids.
Ngl these things kicked my ass before haha
It happens
Yeah, except when said clips get old. They pretty much explode when you push the pin down. There's a few other clips out there that do it too. I see them and I immediately know I'm gonna need new hardware to assemble.
This is true.
more proof that Toyota Engineers definitely have a hey let's just make sure that just works and isn't a massive pain in the ass for no reason
The amount of times I’ve been asked by customers how to remove these is way more than you’d imagine. To some folks this clip is wildly complicated
Loved it. Silly and helpful
Thanks 🤙🏻
Nice wagon! Where did you get the rear spoiler from?
I got it from a friend of mine in New Zealand
I have a 94 how do I find good aftermarket parts for it??
Well, I got All my stuff from friends I made over seas over the years. Ae101 owners club on Facebook would be a good place to start
First gen mr2, sick! those things are rad!
It’s for sale!
How do fix the 2nd meter at the bottom? The one that reads "000.0".
You can’t. You have to replace the entire speedometer assembly. The little plastic gears that operate the odometer (second meter you’re referring to) break causing it to be inoperable. The gauges in this car are non serviceable which is why parts replacement is your only solution.
Where did you get your mirrors from if you don't mind me asking. Also thank you for the vid it's greatly appreciated
They’re off a KP61
@@Tylerstoyotas thank you for that info. And many thanks on your video just replaced my radiator it was a breeze.
How did you have the hood lift from the windscreen side? I wanna knw how to do it on my ae100
Google hood spacers. The spacers on that car are 1”. They bolt between the hood and the hinges
Could this be done with unattached the fan and leaving it in the car instead? Then just slide the new radiator behind it and bolt it back up. I was having issues unplugging the wires to it.
You can but it’s more of a hassle to do it that way.
i need the cup holder
You can get one from your local wreckers. Or, there are many to be purchased online
Great video when you had an issues with the keys that made the video all the better thanks for the laugh 😂
I’m glad you enjoyed it 😂
@@Tylerstoyotas , Great video , I've always loved Toyotas especially the 93-97 corollas.. I noticed you have a tachometer . Is that rare on these 7th gens ?.
Where do you find the strut bar
eBay about 10 years ago. It’s made by ultra racing. You could probably Google it
Obrigado
No problem
Very cool. I just bought my first old toyota. A 1984 ae82 corolla sedan. Hopefully I can get on your level
Sick dude! I currently still own an 85 ae82 sedan and sold my other one right before I moved. I need to go back to NC and work on it so my dad can drive it
where did you find the FX-GT front bumper? im after one for my Luxury Edition Sedan so bad...
btw lots of rare and cool 7th gen parts you got, congrats
A friend of mine who lives in New Zealand shipped it to me
I swapped my cluster and it doesn’t seem to be working. What should I do? I tried switching the light bulbs but no light and also none of the gauges seem to be working also.
Check your gauge fuse and your panel fuse in the fuse box in the drivers side kick panel. That’s the first step
You talk to fucking much.
Turn the sound off
Thanks!! You showed us you actually taking it apart. That’s super helpful. Everyone else ain’t do that. ❤️
THANK YOU!!!!!! You’re the ONLY ONE to show us you actually taking it apart. That’s soooooo important!!! You nailed it!! ❤️
You’re welcome!
What mirror is that?
There’s a video of a complete walk around of the car that will answer all your questions
I have a '95 Corolla DX. I just replaced all 4 of my inner door handles the other day. The nylon screw grommets in the sheet metal the door handle screws screw into are somewhat deteriorated and stripped so the screws don't fit as tight as I would like. Can those white square nylon nuts with black borders be replaced? What is the correct part number for them? Do they press into the door sheet metal from the front? The plastic clips for the metal rods were included with my new door handles from amazon.com. About $20 with shipping for a set of 4. I found it easier to use a needle-nose pliers to hold the metal rods under spring tension forward to make it easier to get those L clips on and off.
Yes, the white plastic piece that the screw screws into is replaceable. And yes it just presses in. I don’t know the part number off the top of my head but the dealership will more than likely have them in stock cause it’s used in several other applications from door speakers to fender liners.
haha noted, dont use heat gun hahaha
For real, it was awful. Literally yesterday a guy at work was doing it like that. Took him all day to remove the sound deadening material in a Tacoma
Take those “dress up” washes off the water pump pulley. Those are really common for coming loose
Will do. They were laying around so I was like “why not” lol
Take it to shows! People at shows: “cool rabbit!” Or “is that a yugo?”
Lol that’s exactly my thoughts
Thank you. It is really helpful.
You’re welcome
Man, more grooves than the Grand Canyon lol It’s coming along though!
😂
How rare is a 1993 to 1997 Corolla wagon? I’ll be looking for one after I sell two of my three Ford Rangers. But if I don’t find a good one I’ll look for a 1.8 5 speed Matrix or Vibe.
Pretty rare. Here in the USA we only got them from 93-95.
Hey man I have 94 Dx wagon we’re can I get the roof spoiler I can’t find anything for mine
You’ll have to source one from another country off a BZ touring wagon. We didn’t get them here
Oh ok thanks bro and clean car bro keep it up
I really hope you respond to comments because I have so many questions to ask you
Lol. If you scrolled through the comments you’d have seen that I do. What’s up?
Here we can add a noise meter RBM on such a car and this meter or not
Unfortunately I don’t understand the question
U replaced engine?
Yes
I’ve got one of these… would love tips to build it fancy
What ever questions you have I’ll be happy to answer
@@Tylerstoyotas Sorry it took me half a year to revisit this page. pretty much been busy doing other things. so i'm changing my engine soon. In ghana at the moment and running a toyota 2C engine. but it has not airconditioner so, i'd like to get a much better (in terms of speed ) more quieter but very fuel efficient as compared to what i have already... some sort of a mini sleeper.. what would you advice?
Hey man, as long as their old school Toyota's, I'm game for it!!And I thank you greatly for putting out those AE101 vids. And congrats on the married life!!
Thank you!
You said you mad you rear bumper lip and what did u make it out of?
I used a lip from a 2002 camaro. It’s A LOT of work and I don’t recommend it at all
