    Did that work out pretty well I've got a new lawn that we're putting in but first we are having it leveled with some big equipment. I need to come in and get the fine leveling done. I was a little bit concerned that a vibratory roller would be too much and it would super compact the soil before I planted??

  • @ricepadi29
    @ricepadi29Ай бұрын

    We don’t use the vibration mode when rolling lawns. It brings the moisture up and causes the drum to slip. I probably wouldn’t use this type of equipment for a new lawn installation.

    I have a mower that hones in and out and wants to power off while mowing, could it be the battery? I’ve tried almost everything or fix it

  • @ricepadi29
    @ricepadi293 ай бұрын

    Hard to say. I stopped by my local mower shop when one of our other mowers was not staying charged and they were able to hook a tester up to make sure my charging system was functioning properly which it was so they warrantied the battery. After that the mower was good. So I would suggest having your charging system tested. They can test the battery easily too. I didn’t even take my mower out of the trailer when they test it. I have heard of ignition coils going bad when the mower gets hot from use so may be something else to consider testing. Good luck out there.

    I bought a Ice Crusher heater 3 years(2021) ago for my 2016 4010 Mule. The main bracket was stamped BACKWARD and there was no way you could make it work. contacted company and sent pics and drawings of how it should fit, They sent another bracket that was stamped almos correctly but was not curved enough to hug the horizontal frame tube that supports the dash.Some spacers, a vice, and a 3 lb. hammer would fix that. No more help from them. Two days ago(2024) I tried again: Remove front fenders,remove hood,remove front cargo box. I put the "corrected" bracket in a vice and "formed" it to where I could at least get the unit hung up. It is a tight fit.Connected power wires and made sure blower worked. There is a clamp that goes around a frame tube and supports the rear of the heater unit and it is a bastard to hook up even with all the front end off. The next step is to get the defrost hoses run and the coolant lines and fittings installed. The 3 speed blower puts out a lot of air. I just hope the thing gets hot enough. I am going to install a power distribution and fuse box later to handle the heater,winch,bed lift, and summertime cab fan later. I don't know if the company ever corrected the stamping of their mounting brackets or not but that bracket has to be precise to make everything work correctly.
