I have travelled to over 33 countries on 3 continents and I still love to aimlessly walk the streets, just to look at the buildings, observe the different colour schemes, history and architectural designs. I also like to watch the local people and understand their customs and culture. I normally map out my way around the cities (thank God for the internet). However I love the surprises that I usually find or see on my way. They usually turns out to be the hidden Gems😍
In addition to walking around like a local😊, I like to take their public transportation, whether it be buses or trains. I love when I hop on and off in their downtown areas and checkout the restaurants: I can also listen when the locals speak in their languages even though I do not understand. I try to learn a few words before visiting and had to use my knowledge in situations😁. That is my Tip#1. Learn a few words of the language before visiting. Tip#2. Hang with the locals and Tip#.3. Try the local foods.

Holiday Inn Mobay needs to step up their room game though. My recent visit was disappointing in this regard. The food however was great!
