How do you avoid loss in resolution for desmos? in lots of my drawings the resolution is quite terrible, like if I move a tiny bit the mouth disappears
@jakewalker67 күн бұрын
That usually happens a lot with implicit functions (x and y equations that have both variables on one side). Desmos can have rendering errors with them because of the way that they're calculated, so some parts of the graph can disappear. I often use parametric functions and polygons, which don't have that issue. If you want a way to show implicits without running into that issue, I'd recommend a browser extension called Desmodder. It gives you a bunch of tools to work with in Desmos graphs, one of them being Glesmos. It runs implicit functions on the GPU which fixes a lot of the rendering issues. If you have a complicated implicit expression that breaks a lot you can set it to render with Glesmos as long as you have the setting turned on. It can slow down graphs a bit sometimes so just be aware of that though.
