    Just watching again. Do I have a full understanding? You had a lumpectomy on both sides? (First time I have "heard" of that. Not yet seen/heard of that. I have not had surgery yet. Soon to be scheduled. MRI this week. Did not think about or expect drains may be needed. You seem to be doing fine at this point. Did things continue to go well? I am small breasted and hope to have close to what I have now. This video really helps me with what questions to ask before surgery. Thank you...needed to see the g"graphic" video. Thank you again 💐🤗

    I take 5 pills in the morning and 5 in the evening (2 times 1,800mg). Im on round 3 and other than fatigue, tiredness and loss of appetite, i feel ok. I will have to do 10 rounds. Pay atention to your nutrition. I eat no sugars, no carbs, no processed foods, no vegetable oils. Basically, i eat "clean" and i think that has a lot to do with how i'm coping with side effects and my general physical condition. I take black seed oil every day and curcumin supplement. Hope this helps. Stay strong & think positive ❤

    I just had my 6th and final chemo for st3c endometrial cancer. Very tired and woke up having an anxiety attack. I do have anxiety pills so took a half pill. Fear has engulfed me...life is scary. Up until now I haven't felt this way. I have faith but it is shaky right now. Yes fatigue...over powering. Health issues with hubbie and me. We are in our 80's. Maybe I should get some therapy. Thank you for sharing your journey.❤

    My orthopedic prescribed alendronate for osteonecrosis of my hip. Supposedly it helps prevent head collapse and thereby needing a hip replacement at age 42. Now that I read about ONJ I’m honestly more freaked out about that now and been on 70mg weekly for 3 months now. If I stopped now do y’all think I’d be ok? I got my wisdom teeth still and have thick jaw bone because I have TMJ and bruxism so now I’m all freaked out about any mouth pain

    You cannot see cancerous cells through blood work. A MASSIVE piece of misinformation there.

  • @SurvivingBreastCancer
    @SurvivingBreastCancer6 ай бұрын

    When sharing stories of personal experiences, we don't always know the correct medical terms. However, it is possible that when you do bloodwork, there may be an uptick in your tumor markers which may lead to other tests. Thanks for weighing in!

  • @twp84
    @twp846 ай бұрын

    @@SurvivingBreastCancerA tumor marker isn’t always indicative of cancer either. Uterine cancer can only be diagnosed through a transvaginal ultrasound and biopsy. This patient saying her cancer was diagnosed through blood work only is embarrassingly inaccurate.

    I had a port fitted. So much better than a pic line. I was allergic to just about every plaster and it left my arm in a terrible state. It hurt a little. But I only had a local. It was a lot of pushing and pulling but no more bruised arms from chemo and blood tests. Plus you can move about easier and put a cardie off and on. Best thing I did.
