I favorited this game when KS suggested it (but I didn’t have time to look at it) during my vacation in Edinburgh a couple weeks ago. As of this morning, I can only assume they recommended it because it was developed in Edinburgh, but your explanation just sold me and I backed it just in time! It looks so beautifully unsettling! I’m also looking up Dredge since I saw it mentioned as a comparison.
That is awesome!!!
Love these short videos thanks
@@Keindzjim thanks so much for watching!
he did not explain how to actually cast spell.....
At 0:58 I shared how to cast a spell after an attack. I missed that casting a spell will empty the cauldron of all your cards.
what i mean is that, are you allowed to look through every cards that were discarded in the cauldron or like your only allowed to pick the latest 2 or 3 cards that were discarded, the rulebook and what you said wasn't thorough.b
Got it. Yes, you can look through the cards in your cauldron. This is unlike Little Red, where it's only the top card shown that is used. These videos were just quick overviews and definitely didn't cover everything in depth.
OMG I haven't heard of this! This is so my jam!!
It's a really good one. Played it a couple times already and we love it.
The healing from unnatural remedy should trigger before damage. It cannot heal a fighter from zero health though.
@@goldengaruda8935 got it. So if Erin took me down to 0, that would not bring my sister back to health. Thanks!
Great game guys! Always appreciate a good Friday Night Fight 😎😎 Its unfortunate because Erin did gain an action at the end but didn't realize she only needs 1 raptor adjacent to trigger the effect. she could of attacked again and maybe defeated the last sister 😭😭 Love to see Erin win games
Oh no!!! Thanks for the heads up Josh. That may have taken me down. I thought I was dead after that first Eviscerate card. -Ryan
Good game
Thanks so much for watching!!!
I initially thought this was going to be super one sided, but was much more balanced and intriguing than expected.
Same here. Thanks so much for watching!
Hey all awesome3vs3 action tonight
Thanks so much for watching Ryan!
Great video!
@@jlidis1225 thanks so much!
Thanks for the Overview, just backed it. I rarely do Kickstarter, since most don't offer a german language version, but this one does and Lovecraftian themes are always nice ;)
@GodzillasTodespranke very cool! Thanks for sharing.
We plan on trying it with 6 players. Thinking about doing 3v3.
Awesome video! Was great to meet you in Columbus, looking forward to Atlanta!
Absolutely! See you all in Atlanta
Amazing! Thank you!
Great review of a great game! I love this game so much I went out and bought 2 boards. Yes I had an issue with the pegs slightly leaning on both boards but this is what makes each board challenging and different. When I contacted the company they got back to me right away and told me how I could correct the issue. Everyone I introduced this game to has loved it to the point it can become addicting. Just a side note, tell your parents I said hi. We went to HS together and I played music with your Dad.
That's awesome! Great to hear that you're enjoying the game. I'll absolutely tell my parents you said hello. Small world!
I was really excited at first and went to the site and even signed up for the discount. But then I went to the comments section on the Biñho site and just about 50% of the comments were complaints or issue with quality control. Everything from the paint wearing off very quickly to pegs being bent or crooked, to score track being out of line with pegs or illegible or lack of customer service interaction to the most complaints of the plastic goal not fitting properly and always falling when someone scored a goal. Of course there were others who either had no issues or didn’t write them in their review. I’m sure the people behind the company are nice/great people, but I’m really hoping they can address these issues and put out a more consistent quality product. I really want to play this and think they have a great game but I really don’t want to spend $100+ dollars on a product with that many issues.
Thanks for sharing that. I haven't looked at the reviews on the site and have only gone from the 7 or 8 people I know who have a board. I know one of my friends had a little issue with the paint that you mentioned. The quality of the pins surprise me that they would bend. I've been carrying the game around using the box, and I appreciate the space in the box to store it without messing anything up. The plastic goals do pop up from time to time, which could be improved. Thanks for sharing Ryan. The people I've interacted with at Biñho have been solid, so I hope these people are getting taken care of.
@@OneBoardFamily Yeah I just think it’s something g people should at least be aware of so they can make an informed purchase. My intent is not to trash Biñho boards or their company as I think their idea is awesome and I really want one but for me personally there is still too much unknown and not enough consistency for the price. As far as the bent pegs, one person mentioned an actual bent peg. Most others who talked about it said the hole drilled for the peg was not drilled straight causing the peg to lean. I’m glad to hear they are wonderful people and I hope they can address some of these issues and bring quality consistency up. My guess is that right now they are probably a small company but maybe if they had the opportunity to grow that could help? Who knows. I hope you enjoy your board and get some great experiences playing it. Who knows, I may get one one day but I think I will hold off for now unfortunately. Too many other crowdfunded games I’m waiting on ;)
Absolutely. Your concerns didn't sound like you were trashing the product. Thanks for sharing and checking out the video Ryan!
Hey Ryan! As a new company, manufacturing a new dexterity with so many different types of materials, we have had our share of QC issues over the years. At first, it was the bad print, the next run it was crooked players, then it was bending issues. However, we do absolutely everything in our power to improve with each Batch of product we create. The growing pains aren't fun, but our customer service team is amazing and always makes sure to take care of any issue that a customer has with our product :) Hope to have you as a customer one day! - Nick, ceo/founder
@@BinhoBoard Nick, it is very nice to hear from you and goes to show that you do care about your company/product. I can imagine it can be difficult having seemingly unending issues at every turn but it sounds like you are definitely aware of them and are trying to fix them. I really appreciate the transparency and I honestly do hope to get a Biñho board one day!
🔥lovelyyy
Thanks!
Oh wow, I have to have this! Really well done unboxing 👏🏾
You would love this. You can get a board with your team, check the site out.
Thanks for covering Bubble Net! We are fully funded and almost halfway to our second stretch goal, a mini dice expansion!
You all have a very unique theme in Bubble Net. We loved how creative the game mechanics were while using something that is part of a nature.
😂😂😂 I NEED to see the 15 mins leading up to this one. Prequel?
It's just me running for 1/8th of a mile and vomiting just before reaching the house.
@@OneBoardFamily😂😂😂
"...And this way, I have your number finally" 🤣🤣🤣
Just tryin' to get those digits.
The art is sick 👍
Yes! It's so well done.
Reminds me of the video game Dredge.
I heard that comparison somewhere else. I'm looking up that game now. I haven't heard of it until this showed up.
On the kickstarter page they say that Dredge was one of the inspirations for the game.
@QueenGhidorah I see that on the KS page.
I wish I had you as a neighbor. I'd totally invite you in to play, and then we could play Lizard Wizard after, and compare the two. Instead I get some psycho, swears-a-lot on one side and an old couple who cooks way too many foods with way too many onions on the other.
Hahaaa! I might befriend the old people with the onions... I would just bring a toothbrush and breath mints to dinner.
“We told him to stop coming by but he keeps doing it” 😂 Love this series
Thanks so much for watching! We have a bunch more on the way.
Great list! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching!
I bought this and we played it and were very disappointed. Its not easy to learn in 5 minutes like they say and the scoring was needlessly complex. The part about the leader card was not clear to us. And we had many questions we couldnt find an answer to. If u play a turtle card and you dont have any cards left, do u still collect a card from another player when u dont have any to give back? This wasnt a fun game.
@adrianaalexander5592 gotcha. Thanks for the feedback. As far as the turtle card, pulling cards from another player is not mandatory. In the case of not having any cards after playing the turtle, you are done with that round. No need to pull a card from another player because you would just hand it right back. I think the only thing I didn't care for in the game was the leader getting the +10 card going into the next round. It's really powerful. I actually love the scoring because it's one of the few card games that a person could lose the first couple rounds and still have a chance to win in the end. -Ryan
Thanks for the updates!
Thanks for having me on!
@@TheOpGames It was excellent getting to know this game. It's on our purchase list when it comes to retail.
Thanks for the glowing mention, it was so nice to see you all again! Hope you have a blast playing and sharing JamSumo! We'll have to check out the Sea Shore, Megan loves tile placement games.
Huh?
How does this compare to crossbows and catapults?
I've only played a prototype of Crossbows and Catapults. Concept will be the same, maybe some slight differences. The crossbow is obviously an added item. This shoots discs across the playing field. My opinion is that the component build for Crossbows and Catapults will probably be higher with a higher price tag. This set sold out at the show at $30 and I feel like the price point is perfect for what you're getting.
Such a fun game.
Every game we play of this is memorable.
Cool! Can it be played solo?
Not at the moment. It's 2 to 4 players and there is a thread in Board Game Geek that they are looking into a solo player ruleset. This would come after release.
I was at origins and didn’t see this, thanks!
Oh wow! Wish we had been able to connect.
@@OneBoardFamilyoh! If I knew you were willing to meet I’d of tried to set something up. Maybe next time I go! 😊
@@goldengaruda8935we're always good to meet. People are our favorite parts of these cons.
Wow am I the first view 😁 looks like a cool game!
It looks fantastic in person
Arrr!!! 😜 I like how the theme ties into everything you do. And what great table presence!
Thank you! It's been so much fun to explore this world of pirates and tea ☠️ ☕️ 🍰 🦜
Thank you for the content! It was super fun meeting you :)
It was our pleasure! The game looks great and we were telling people to visit your booth all day.
Please add the link to this video to this game page on BGG!
@@ziggyrozlasky Done. It's now on the page.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! It was great to share Pirates of the High Teas with you :-)
Nice video🏆🍩
Thanks!!!
They should have made these characters in a dueling set Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris and Deadpool vs. Wolverine
These would be some nice 2-packs.
The dad joke and self laugh 😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It's that hard hitting combo.
Thanks neighbor?
Haha! I think that would be my reaction too.
😂 and omg I want that! A solo only tile laying game. Sounds perfect for a rainy afternoon, or any afternoon! It's going to be 90 today, so I'll shut the drapes, crank the a/c, and game. But first things first, I have to order A Gentle Rain!
Yes! The game also released in Target this week. Sounds like an amazing day to us.
I watched this back later (was playing Wingspan with my family during) - Thanks for the birthday shout out!
Awesome!!!
Thanks neighbor
Hey guys - I've been binging the Friday Night Fights and they're lots of fun. Just a minor thing as I'm not familiar with every character - would it be possible to state each character's special ability at the start of the fight? A bit hard to see on the cards. Cheers :)
Yup! Back when we first started, we used to say that this series wasn't a learn to play video. But, over the years, we've had a ton of people reach out and tell us that they learned about Unmatched from this series. It makes sense to do a quick overview of the special ability at the start of the fight. Thanks!
@@OneBoardFamily Thank you! Just makes it that little bit easier to follow along ☺
@lightningmonkey706 absolutely. As this series has gone on, we had no clue that so many new players would find this game because of these videos. I think in the first 5 videos or so, we even said "this series is for people who know the game". It's pretty cool how that has changed with time.
Nice game as always. I love watching you guys play more than any others. What's each of your favorite map?
Thanks so much for that!!! So Erin loves both Baskerville Manor and Sarpedon. I am a big fan of Heorot and Hell's Kitchen. Also, props to The Bronze. -Ryan
@OneBoardFamily Baskerville is one of my favorites, too, mostly because Bloody Mary and King Arthur do well on that map. I like both the Buffy maps alot too.
Really interesting matchup! You know, I've had a couple of people that I taught Unmatched ask me "Why would anyone waste their time and their attack cards going after the sidekick? Defeating them doesn't win you the game, so why shouldn't I ignore them completely, and focus solely on the hero?" I tell them some sidekicks are more dangerous than others, but this game pointed up another great reason to eliminate the sidekick(s)- you can make it so that a bunch of cards in your opponent's deck are worthless, outside of boosting. If Charlie had still been around, all those Charlie cards you kept drawing late in the game could have been very valuable, instead of hand-clogging junk.
Absolutely. Plus, Charlie being the only ranged fighter on the map was important. Looking back, I really needed to protect him more. -Ryan
Morning coffee and a fresh FNF video. Great way to start any Saturday.
Thanks for starting your day with us!
