Awesome work mate :)
Thanks a lot!
You made it look so easy,so I'm going to try it, I've always hade a hard time with pastel type colors give me earth tones and I can go crazy with it. It's why I love painting nurgle.
You can do it!
I liked how you did the model. Similar to what I am doing in some areas, but I switched the fur to be a desaturated pink and the skin was more charcoal grey.
Sounds interesting! Ide love to see it, do you have a link to it?
Great looking model!
Very cool
Absolutely love the blend on that shield. Awesome work!
Nice!
Great job mate!
You should try painting Infinity models, i think you'd enjoy their details
There's something in the pipeline :)
If you're after some editing advice; - Use slower-more gradual transitions (easier on the audience's eyes). - Avoid fading to black unless you're trying to indicate a long period of time has elapsed (eg, days-weeks). - bgm is solid, no issues there & the voice-over is great. - If you're using a 'fade to black' transition, use a fade-in transition afterwards for the next piece of footage as it can be jarring to watch otherwise. - Having the names of the paints is great but having a png image of the paint pots used as a tally at the bottom would be great too, that way people can see a visual representation of all the paints needed to achieve the same results. Beautiful paintwork, man. Little tip, to save you wasting black paint on doing the trim of the bases, you cna cheat by using a black marker pen instead. Thanks for the shout-out, man. Wonderful vid
Next time I'm in the hang out I'll talk to you about the transitions. Having a list of all the paints I use is a great idea I'll look at that for the next one, might save me the effort of typing them in on each shot!
@@JimWorthPainting No danger, man. We're hanging out in the Discord presently

Dayum! Smashed that out for an hour!!! Putting Richard and I to shame 😂 amazing work!
Think you did good for an hour to paint that bud. Certianly seen worse pn the table "table top ready" 😂
Definitely a few things ide have done differently but I've never attempted such a large model in such a short space of time! Especially without allowing the paint to dry 😂. Next time will be better!
@@JimWorthPaintinglook forward to it - maybe a challenge series to help you practice :D
I love seeing Artisan's Guild minis get painted.
Ive got a bunch of their Dragons and Wood Elves sat on the shelf ready for a video :D They're my go to D&D minis really
Smashing it bud
Fantastic video mate. Easy to follow, might have a go with this technique on my beastmen with more fleshy tones
Very fine work, dude

The Beacons are lit! and so is this paint job!
Nicely done!
Awesome idea. Looks really cool
Paint your nails too next time 😂
Looks amazing, well done!
Another awesome vid dude love it
Do you ever have a problem with the speed paints reactivating?
Not with Contrast Paints! but the first range of Army Painter speed paints would reactivate. Im sure their second range had that fixed though
Yeah the first range of army painter speeds paint does that. Their second does not. Kind of feel robbed after buying the first set lol
I was very close to getting them but glad i put it off! But GWs Contrast come back was great, i grabbed a few of those newer paints and all of them have been fantastic.
Lets go Jim!! Another video. Gonna watch this evening but just getting the first comment in ;) lol
scratch that, watching it now lol
Nice work. Looking forward to seeing future projects of yours. Keep it up.
dude that was awesome :)
Jim, this is incredible! That finished model is properly stunning, and you've got that Bob Ross knack of pulling it all together at the end of each step. The video was so relaxing to watch, and your commentary was perfectly concise, that was very well written. How long until you get a Golden Demon award?
Haha thank you for such a lovely comment ChrispyP, next video will hopefully be an improvement too! Couple of years before ide dare enter GD i recon :D
Nicely done Jim! Storming first video mate. You have come srtaight in with your own style, nice chilled vibe, and the voice over is great... kinda reminds me of something akin to David Attenborough lol Keep em comin man!
Nice work, man. Looks great
I really like the way you did the weapons and claws, the model turned out great!
Keep the long format with the chilled music, great for background modeling
Awesome tutorial mate, really easy to follow and great results :D
