  Nice review and nice to see some Dutch landscape. How much is that lens in the Netherlands? Goes for AU$2000+ (1250 Euro) in Australia!

  K3 an APS-C sensor, which is too small for any Pro.

  It's cus this nick carver guy has me thinking about film... But my bf brought me here but u dint have this with film and I'm thinking it's a good idea. My bf specifically said I should try it for my buffalo trip 🤔 but 🤔 I'll have to carry another camer if u don't have this one with film integrated as well 🥺... Im thinking , my - 2 instant cameras - super 8 (cus bf likes me to try it) - dSLR ... Dunno which -yours -and if u don't add fil ... Another one for b/w cus bf wants ,e to try on film 🙄 I'm not even good at potatoes, but I'll try. 🤗😁😎 My bf thinks I can do well and he'll help me. 🤭🤭🤭

And 🥺 like my bf believes i couls do goid with b\w but i dont know and that's how he brought me hete🤗? But know nothing about pentax 🤭🤭🤭 so...   Very well done commercial. I do put effort into watching reviews by the few reviewers who still cover Pentax. They all seem to agree that this lens if extremely good. As a retiree, i have to make due with older "vintage" glass, sometimes from eBay. I am glad Pentax is still producing excellent lenses for those who can afford "new". If i live long enough, i might be able to pick one up on eBay!!!!

  Era mult mai bine dacă Ricoh/ Pentax fabrica un dslr retro monochrome...exact ca Nikon ZF. În viitorul apropiat vrem și ne dorim și un retro/ vintage dslr de la Pentax 😊

  I would like to see how the monochrome works with the DA* 55mm @ 1.4 (the dreamy spectrum of this lens) or a Zeiss 85mm @ 1.4 for that matter.

  I love my Old Film Pentax cameras! I simply see no need to spend that kind of money! Yes, it's way less than those Leica-Monochrom! Still not worth it. A roll of Film, Self Develop and scan. OH! Older compact cameras do great BW! It's the CCD sensor! I use a Minolta.. good video but NO!

  I won at auction for more than i wanted to spend however couldnt pass the opportunity up. Got the smc f series 50mm 1.7 and am not dissapointed. Great review. Keep up the good work.

  I just ordered my first Pentax - I've been a Canon user for life up until now, I'm hoping that I don't regret the switch, but for the price I got on the body and two lenses I really wanted to give it a shot since they're essentially the last company sticking to SLR's.

  Thank you very much for your work and effort. As a Pentax user for 15 years, I cannot and will not be convinced to buy the K3 III (for many years I have been fighting within myself whether to buy it or not, I ended up with the KP camera. I cannot use a camera without a few basic features that all modern cameras have. If Pentax doesn't give me what I want (better video, a better movable LCD screen), I won't change my mind. I can't have two systems to be independent. Photography is photography, I understand, but we live in times when expensive equipment goes beyond the scope of photography only. I run a channel on KZread, FB, etc. and I have no way of recording short, valuable videos.

  Lee Im still not sold on black & white i like color to much as I like to look at the colors of the wildlife i photograph a blue bird with its blue feathers looks better in color than in black & white it just becomes a black & white bird instead of a blue bird

  I shot in mono last week for the first time , on my k70 , few shots of a local castle ruin , I really liked the images and I feel they came out well shooting against a grey moody sky where perhaps the light wasn't great for colour photos to stand out . I will definitely shoot more in black and white . I can't stretch to a k3 iii monochrome , but I'm enjoying the genre .

  I bought it primarily for astrophotography. I'm getting excellent images with it for that purpose.

  It’s a so tempting but I doubt at the moment whether I could justify the cost. As for future likes we’ll definitely more lens upgrades withe PLM.
