Have begun the cardigan. Enjoying crotcheting a bit everyday.
Fantastic! I never understood my wonky edges. Now I do!
I have been trying to crochet but I don't know how to do it
Hi @Sewrella! Thank you for posting this video. Does this apply to double crochet as well?
i thought this is just the normal way to do it? if u skip that first stitch wouldn’t u be doing an unintentional decrease?
This is how i learned to crochet. That is the normal for most patterns i have read. Good video and explanation.
Thank you so much! I’m a beginner crochet again after learning the basics years ago and never progressed so teaching myself through KZread and this helped so much! Attempting to make a blanket so definitely gonna use this method for my corners to keep them straight ❤
is there a 2nd part to this?? It just ends
Thank you so much for this!
What do you do if it's a half double or double crochet stitch being used?
Is this only for single crochet. What about half double and half double.😊
Can you use an Aran weight yarn for this project as I don’t like working with cotton or dk yarn
Hi where can I get the measurement table Thank you
Tysm (★^O^★)for this it really helped now I can do better
Thank you so much I made over 60 queen size blankets. N my sides were alway uneven. But u made it so easy for me thanks. I started another blanket n it’s so even on the ends. 😊
Second? Or secont? Lol
So you onlystart the pattern on the second stitch
Thank you thank you that was so cute!
This tutorial helped me make the cutest beanie! Thank you so much! ^.^
i broke my thumb doing this🙂
Where do i find the pattern .13:19
I was one of the people who searched for hours and hours trying to make a crochet design and got frustrated when it looked wrong or the stitches weren't correct. When I decided to do a scarf, this was the first video that came up which was everything I was expecting it to be, SLOW, EASY and CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND, and when she told me to relax, I did. This video made crocheting a non-stressing thing and I have made a beautiful masterpiece from it. To support this channel, I have liked and subscribed to it and I want to be a part of the community that watches her amazing videos. Like this comment if u agree.
I've been doing it like this and didn't realise there was another way. Come to think of it when I was learning I must have watched videos on the other method and not understanding why it was wonky. I found another video which did it as you described as I have been doing it ever since. I thought I was doing it wrong!
Bro im so lucky i noticed that my blanket was not straight like i made it black and pink the black us straight and the pink was not so i watched this and it helped
Does this work for single, half double crochet abd double crochet? I love this I was messing up on the V end I’ll try this trick. I’m a beginner I’ve been so frustrated trying to figure out how to get straight edges. So happy you posted this to make us feel like we’re not going crazy. Was making a baby blanket out of the Bernet Blanket Yarn I gave up !!! The ends were so bad it was so frustrating. On U-tube it looked so easy. Praying this works for me as a beginner. Now I need to get my tension down. Love your tutorials. Love the two toned hat !!!!! Gosh it’s brilliant can that be made in a child’s size 5 to 7 year olds. Thanks ❤😂🎉
My last blanket became an unintentional rainbow- I stopped making blankets and wanted to try again- this video is making a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!!!!
Mulțumesc frumos pentru tutorial ❤
Very pretty
Thank you
I made this rose twice and undid it twice! I may not be Einstein in maths, but there's no way you can make only 4 double-crochet petals, 4 half double-crochet petals and 4 single crochet petals with 40 chains!
I wish that I would’ve known about you when I was first Learning how to crochet. You are very thorough and you show us exactly where the needle supposed to go and what stitch you’re supposed to go into. I have been crocheting for a few years now even though I’m 74, but I just subscribed to your channel because I’m sure there is more good stuff to come. Thank you.
How big is your rose?
Thanks for your time, I got to make a pretty little hat, however, the written pattern differs slightly from the video instructions, I also find that the zoom could be better to follow along by just watching. Overall I really like your way to explain, so thanks again!
Does the frizz go away?
Thanks very much for sharing! It's such a pretty rose and so simple to make❣️
great tutorial but I don't know why I get a big gap between the 2 needles, so for each new stich the gap gets wider and it ends up getting in the way. Why do you think this is happening? thanks a lot!
How many stitches for this pretty scarf?
My fav stitch is this one.I need to fix my mistakes and finish my HDC blanket.
its hard😅😅
this is really helping and turning out as good as your
Love this cardigan! I've made four and I'm addicted! Thank you for this pattern. I will be buying the kit as I would like a paper copy.
Thank you for this video❤it has really helped me and I hope it will help others ❤❤
Made my son a blanket and finished it but ended it early so he can have that one as just memory of "mom's crooked blanket she made me when I was 2"... lol I want to make him another one and with straighte edges. Thank you!
When changing from the band to the body first single stitch row along the raw edge, how do you see the 96 rows? I can't make out where the first new row should go. Ty for awesome content. :)
This really worked out well for me! Thanks so much for sharing!
I can't find the soap product that you have, what other products can I substitute?
I thought you had to go in that stitch so I’ve been doing it all along 😭
Skipping a stich as traditionally taught has made ne looses stitches over several rows. I exoetiemdnted with the method on this video before I'd seen it. It really does work and I'm so glad j saw your video to show me why it worked. Thank you!❤
Wish I'd seen this before I started!❤
one quick question/comment row 9. we start with fpdc, and if there are 44 stirches should end in a regular dc. not a fpdc. cuz, i watched this 10 times and the math aint mathin' if we have an even number we start with one stitch and end in another. or am i missing something?
