  As long as it isn’t liquid manure slurry system with concrete slotted floor. The anaerobic decomposition creates CH4, H2S, methane, and other toxic GHG emissions. Trying to use slurry as a fertilizer causes leaching into waterways, which is avoided by composting bedding. Antibiotic use is necessary with liquid slurry systems. The animals need begging as you explain. For cold climates use systems like Xaletto.

  This is the exception to the rule. Thank god people realize animals of every kind have feelings, feel pain and need and show love too. I’d rather you be a vegan like me and not eat them but at least take perfect care while they are alive. They are as smart as a dog or possibly as smart as a 2 or 3 year old. They feel everything we do.

  @@RnR1001 That doesn't make sense, when you make an effort to boycott a destructive agriculture your impact is less. It's quite the opposite, with less farmed animals being bred and them consuming less land and resources, wildlife will flourish.

  This system could be a closed system using aquaponics to clean the water creating additional revenue instead of pouring thousands of litres into a dam and saying it can be used for grazing cattle. Solar hot water could heat your water if needed and P.V. Solar powered heat pumps could reduce water temperature. This business runs off an unsustainable model using too much water and not using it wisely. This is a 1950’s design that could be retro fitted with changes to improve it. The business model shows that the company either doesn’t pay for the water or doesn’t pay much. Yes, it’s bore water, but this process uses loads, and then wastes it.

  Wastewater generated from fish farming is recycled by building a seaweed farm on land to recycle fish urine or excrement (nitrogen, phosphorus) as nutrients for seaweed, and the seawater can be reused to produce fresh fish.

  Hi! I produce a weekly Cheese Show here on YT with my fiance, and we are currently working on an episode about a cheese from Australia, Goat on a Hot Tin Roof! The cheese is made with tanami apples, pepperberry, and saltbush. We have been really struggling to find any pictures online of tanami apples to use for our video. Any idea where/how we might find any photos of these native Australian shrubs?? Thanks!!

  Lazy farming. Catch stuff from the sea, "Hardins Commons". Nobody puts back anything, No eggs, no hatchery, no knowledge of the fishery is being understood. Australians don't get any large lobster, we get crap. China gets what they want. Is Australia just another Chinese farm?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Why aren't we selling to the USA or Germans, Japan, Taiwan, UK etc... let them grow their own. No one country can be taking all our Lobster. No contracts, no half sale, Stock market type sell and buy. Maybe even individual lots of crays..
