Hey, my name is Dan Crouse, and welcome to the KZread channel of Southwest Michigan Paintless Dent Repair [SWMIPDR]. If you were in Norcal I’d bring a few cars a few past customers ruined.. 🤘
You are the only person who said this could be saved. Looks incredible! It's been like that for all 4 years I have owned the car. Edit: That is the original fender too. I try not to be super picky about originality when it cannot be saved but this was my ideal outcome for the fix on that.
All your videos are the best. So awesome🎉❤
What are the average costs for dings and minor dents vs larger debts. I have a deer ding and some door dings
Dents are priced by the inch . There is a pricing chart on my website www.SWMIPDR.com
Good job !
This looks almost identical to the repair need I just scheduled with you. Great work!! I know I found the right guy! Looking forward to working with you more in the future 👍🏼
wow, outstanding job.
Hi What size are the plexi type sheets you bought? I checked Hobby Lobby in WA and they only have 8x10 ? or something close to that ? I am actually searching for a LED florescent light fixture I have which is 12"x22" I can cut down to length if I find it? Thanks for any help
Have not seen or did I miss the follow up on how the index handle worked out???
How is this working out???
Nice idea. What type of battery do you have for that ?
How long would a dent like that take you if you weren’t filming?
Probably around 4 hrs . I had 5 hrs into it total .
@@SWMIPDRwould you mind me asking what you charge for stuff like that? Do you believe in charging off time or level of difficulty/craftsmanship?
@@JohnnyBravo02 I price the dents by the inch , as well as the depth and sharpness . I also take into account how much a body shop would charge to do the repair . I also give a pretty substantial discount to people paying out of pocket . I charged $800 for this one.
@@SWMIPDR hell yeah do. That’s a good days work. As good as you are you could do two of these day if you wanted to I’m sure . I’m 27 and have made a good reputation and resume for myself as a very good collision repair technician in South Georgia, I’m investing time and resources into glue pulling and working towards learning actual PDR. Which with being a body technician I have plenty of time to practice everyday and still get paid and if it has to be painted then that’s fine , that’s why it’s there. But once im good enough I want to start doing PDR for myself outside of work and eventually work towards having my own shop doing collision repair and PDR. But PDR takes a lot less capital and overhead , so it’s a great bridge I feel to help me reach my end goal and honestly if you can PDR something it’s absolutely the cleanest / highest quality repair option I respect the hell out of you guys and appreciate y’all getting me out my bubble and really showing me what you can do without doing body work and painting . Never would’ve thought some of what y’all do was even possible
@@SWMIPDR have you tested out that mobile tech rx estimating app at all?
What kind of welder do you use sorry I don't know much about welding but would like to learn how to do what you did
I did something similar and then plasti dipped them. Works well
Man I didn’t think that door was savable! The rubber ball dolley trick was a good idea!
That looked like a good time! Are you sore by the end of the day working a dent that big?
Дэн, спасибо твоим родителям, что ты есть, тебе спасибо, что ты делишься своими идеями. Много очень полезного. С уважением Валерий.
Beautiful save, love the work and attention to detail.
Was that a stanliner tool you were using on the front when you were hitting up with a rod? If so, what tool?
Yes, 1/2 raised stanliner rounded head snake tool .
@@SWMIPDR thanks mate. It's hard the decided what tool to get from them when most of the videos are basically clips and you don't see the application of use. 🙏
@@valliwulf if you follow stanliner on Facebook they have started showing some of the uses for their tools. I only have 10 stanliner tools so far , but I will say they are my favorite rods now that I know how to use them .
Крутой ты чел
Amazing that you got that body line back. Excellent work
Excellent repair!! Great job!
Outstanding work, thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much . This was the most difficult repair I’ve done yet .
Que bueno eres detallista en la abolladuras
Your audio is very low. Thanks for sharing
🧑👌🔥
White LED strips? Thanks for sharing
what light are you using there? thanks for the vid
Pro pdr light from dentcraft
who makes a video like this and doesnt link the product? what size are the lines
Use your own brain, if you still can. Don't expect folks to do EVERYTHING for you, unless you prefer being seen as an entitled, lazy brat
Can you tell me the specifications of the star socket and hexagonal extension nut?
💪
Genius… got new sub
👍
Gran trabajo felicitaciones!! Aproximadamente cuanto tiempo te llevo realizarlo? Saludos desde Argentina.
Great job. How do you like the metal medic slide hammer? Where did yo get your light collar?
Question, where do you order the skins from?
I just wanted to drop a huge thank you for the amazing PDR work you did on my truck! The results are truly impressive and it's clear you put a lot of skill and care into what you do. I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
Thank you Michael! That means a lot to me! I always give it my best effort , very glad your happy with it!
Great work, if I wasn't so far away, I have work for you.
Perfect as usual
I always watches your videos and amazed its really great bro , what type of grinder is it using ?
The one that you work on at time 1:28, got a similar one from my wife opening the door Into a cart return at the store, looks pretty minor but when your using the glue, what kind of glue are you using? I know WRX’s have thinner paint so I don’t want to damage the paint, anything would be very helpful, I have a 21 WRX
I am using metal medic green jujitsu glue, if it’s a newer Subaru the paint is totally fine for glue pulling . It’s the older ones that have problems .
@@SWMIPDR so a simple Amazon kit that has random glue sticks, would those be okay you think? Not sure how much it would cost for someone to come out and fix it but figured I could do it myself if it’s cheap and safe enough. Dont mind buying the glue that more professionals use, just once all that’s added up its 100 buck easy or a $40 kit on Amazon just comes with different glues and people are guessing which to use etc but instructions suck
@@dailydrivenmedia_ I have to warn you there is a Lot more to it than just putting a tab on the dent and pulling . This is what training is for . As well most pdr techs have a 35% up charge for a dent that was previously attempted . If this was a simple job everybody would be doing it . Go ahead and try it yourself , but don’t be surprised when you can’t make the dent go away completely.
@@SWMIPDR I gotcha, will prob get a quote from a place and if it’s too high I’ll attempt it myself but appreciate you getting back to me!
👌👌
Nice work!
Oh man you should make an in depth video of building one of these from scratch like you did on the fog light.
You are awesome 😮🎉
Looks great to me!!
Cold glue #ftw!

I believe I recognize this beautiful E30. Please it’s the featured car for RSI?
Yes it is . I have their turbo manifold .
@@SWMIPDR that’s so awesome. I have been trying like for a month to decide what manifold to go for.
@@SWMIPDR your car is super clean, you are doing great work!
My brother in law does body work and this is how I ran across your video. Hard to miss the car😉
What metal did you use ? How thick ? Where do you buy
I pipelined with a bunch from Mt. Pleasant Michigan
