You can see their feelings. You can also know the average player will not be calling down with air because gto says so.

  • @AeroPlaysPoker
    @AeroPlaysPoker3 күн бұрын

    In my personal experience, the online game is MUCH worse than live games. The only time I've had a different experience than that is playing in one of those club apps where you have to be personally invited to a club and have a host with whom you exchange money with. That's the online equivalent of playing house games.

    I like what I've seen in your vids so far. If you want some good options for background music during the video (the right flow at a just-audible volume can add a lot), audionautix.com has a lot of music you can use just with attribution. It's not the only site like that, but it's the one I've found with the widest variety of music. Might be useful.

  • @AeroPlaysPoker

    another great vlog Aero! Being card dead sucks especially when you don't play long sessions. It's definitely my flaw because after an hour of nothing j/10 off looks okay. I suggest adding a time bar in the corner of the actual time. Then we'd have an idea of the time between your hands. Also I noticed that your sessions always start around 2 am. Do you ever play any other times or is that just the prime time to be playing? I'm debating setting the alarm on the weekends and jumping in some overnight games (I'm also a vegas local) but I love sleeping so it's hard

    I actually consider poker to be similar to rock-paper-sissors. I can beat average players and a good portion of other pros, but it's the crazies that often get me because I can't guess their hands. I actually just gave a new subscriber on the table some advice last night (and he was really receptive of it, unlike a lot of people) because his bet sizes made his hands almost face up. It was an amazing session for the vlog, but sadly won't air until vlog #13. We're pretty backed up right now!

    I disagree with that guy not going for value with the nut straight on the river... that prints long term all sets would have raised already

  • @AeroPlaysPoker
    @AeroPlaysPoker4 күн бұрын

    He didn't raise me until the turn. Why would I reraise him again with a set if I suspect he might have already flopped the nuts? Deep stack play is very different from low stakes games with only 100 big blinds. What should he do on the river if he bets like 300 and I jam on top for another 1200+ to call? It would put him in an absolutely terrible spot. A snap call for him in a more shallow game where a novice might be jamming with AK thinking trips with top kicker is good, but again, deep stack is very different. You've heard me discuss situations with over-pairs, top pair with open end, and even trips where I lead out with a bet, but fully expect to fold if someone puts in a considerable raise. That's because I really would fold those hands wheras in a 100 big blind game, those hands are often all-in shoves for me. That being said, I'm a greedy sob and would go for a small value bet on the river myself 😂

    In that kqo hand at beginning you said something about your heart beating (fast?) Just wondering do you get a racing heart here or only in big pots or not at all? Curious how many good players get racing hearts still even if it’s a smallish pot cause who knows where it goes. My heart races even when I play micros online for a few bucks so I know it’s not cause I could have a couple bucks invested and my heart will pound sometimes. Is that weird?

    While I personally disagree with some of your decisions I am an online GTO wannabe player and therefore presume your wild deviations are just custom tailored live exploits. Limping KK, donking flop & turn after getting raised, cbetting a connected board, wildly unbalanced checking ranges; i guess you can just sorta play purely reactionary poker and respond to your opponents based upon what *they* do instead of predicting what they'll do. In a nutshell, results dont lie, well done.

    Would you say the Wynn 2/5 NL is the best in Vegas if your looking to grind it out for a living there?

  • @AeroPlaysPoker
    @AeroPlaysPoker7 күн бұрын

    It depends where you are on your professional journey. If your bank roll is smaller, the 1-3 at the Wynn has a $500 cap. That's an amazingly soft game. I can make 3-5k per month pretty consistently there. You need to have proper bankroll management, which is a huge, HUGE component of being a successful pro. If you think you can handle 10k of losses or more from a couple of bad months of run bad though? Then yes, the 2-5 at the Wynn Encore is definitely my casino of choice. I mention this in my first video. This is if you're comfortable buying in for 2-300 big blinds.
