There's no death penalty in Cuba, no matter what you do. And of course There's no death penalty for using drugs. But you can go to jail.

I've been to cancun before. Full of scammers and hustlers out to get you any chance they get. Really ruins the experience of trying to enjoy your time there.
Ugh, tell me about it! Scammers can be such a drag. They definitely don't represent the real Cancun. Next time you're here, hit me up for some recommendations. I can steer you towards the good stuff, the stuff that won't break the bank and will actually blow your mind.
ich finde chania ist nicht wertvoll, es ist hässlich
Des sind aber krasse worte von einem touristen ich hoffe deine heimat stadt ist besser .
Here is a dont do not book at the Allegro. Left after one day Do not book a trip to Allegro. Food is worst than terrible. Rooms filled with bugs and bed bugs. Please do not stay here!
I'm retiring in Greece too. Living in Houston, Texas, and share it for now, six months there. My favorite place is South mainland, South Peloponeese, the Manh peninsula, close to Kalamata..You don't have to go islands..The whole mainland is amazing..There is a different scenery every mile, different view, different beach.. Just choose yours.. Don't go to the most expensieve islands, the most known places..Go to the real places where the real Greeks are living..

Where Are The Ladies?
So a bracelet scam. One person will come up to you start talking and asking questions and give you a bracelet and say it’s for free. After a minute or two they will say they need money or an item for it. Just keep walking and say nothing to them or say I don’t have any money. Ignore them and don’t take them on. They will leave you alone.
Yes just like Mom said, don't talk to strangers
Well its only a REAL fool that falls for traps or scams ---- all over the world their is always scammers ready for the unsuspecting victims ---- but if you are awake and not in your afternoon slumber you can spot them a mile away --- and tell them in a very subtle way to move off (obviously using a different word)

Unfortunately, no, I have always rented a golf cart or taken my own vehicle on the car ferry from Cancun to Isla, but public transport should be cheap to go around the island.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. As I mentioned at 8.06, it is called El Varadero. Give it a try: the food is super delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing.

Avoid the bar just ojtside the airport in the parking lot, is. Rip off
Yes, it is a pure tourist trap where you could easily pay 50 bucks for a margarita
Going through that airport is such a chore.
Cancun is even worse
Thanks!
Thank you very much. Have fun in Los Cabos, and stay safe
Contrary to the beach scene shown at 5:58, it is generally illegal to light fires on Italian beaches, especially at night, and fires are easy to be spot by Coast Guard in the dark hours.
I was in Cuba when Castro died. That was pretty weird.
I can only imagine. I hope it was not like in North Korea
@@TravelDroner You could not get a drink anywhere outside the hotel. There were a lot of sad, older people and a lot of hopeful, younger people. His funeral cortege went by my hotel. The Beard was carried on what looked like a 2-wheel, camping trailer.

The real scam at the airport when you land is the money exchange. They have the worst exchange rate in all of Los Cabos and we'll try to convince you to convert more for a better price.

Greece is planning to introduce a retirement visa; it's only a matter of time.
That is positive for all the retirees streamlining things for them xeretismata apo to kankoun meksiko.
How do older folks retire in Colombia with proper health coverage in places that are very hot and humid, with crowding snd congestion, and high air pollution??
Retiring in Colombia can be enjoyable with proper planning. Many expats choose cities like Medellín for its mild climate, good healthcare, and less congestion. Colombia offers private health insurance plans and access to quality medical facilities. It's also important to research areas with lower pollution levels and consider locations with favorable weather.
@@TravelDroner My understanding is that Medellin has a lot of air pollution, and that Bogotà is even worse.
@@dovygoodguy1296 You're right, Medellín and Bogotá can have air pollution issues, especially during certain times of the year. Consider smaller cities like Manizales or Pereira in the Coffee Triangle for cleaner air and a comfortable climate. These areas offer good healthcare, a more relaxed pace of life, and lower pollution levels. Additionally, coastal cities like Santa Marta have beautiful beaches and a warm climate, though they can be more humid. Researching and visiting different regions can help you find the best fit for your retirement needs.
@@TravelDroner Pereira does seem to have a special appeal from what I've seen on videos. I wouldn't be able to handle humidity, crowding , congestion and air pollution. I've had my fill in NYC and Los Angeles!
@@dovygoodguy1296 Pereira is indeed a great option! It offers a pleasant climate, is not too humid, and is less crowded and congested compared to larger cities. The Coffee Triangle region, including Pereira, is known for its beautiful landscapes and a slower pace of life, making it ideal for a peaceful retirement. Plus, the healthcare facilities in Pereira are highly regarded. Visiting the area to experience it firsthand might help you decide if it's the right fit for your retirement plans.
Sri lankan is world friendly in people
I guarantee you: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Florida are much more dangerous. I've been to "Los Carbos" (THE CAPES) having said, just be safe and don't travel alone . PS: Los Cabos have the nicest people
