“Most narcissists are men” A very irresponsible statement, not appropriate to state as fact. It seems you’re discussing divorce with someone with a cluster b personality disorder. To that end, I would advise avoiding absolute statements such as the one above. This is also invalidating to any man going through the discussion topic.

Thanks for your reply and observation. Issues such as this affect both men and women, we agree. We are also providing information based on 20+ years of experience and participation in 100s of cases. It is important to note: the statistics show..."Approximately 0.5% of the United States population, or one 1 in 200 people, has the disorder. There are significant gender differences when it comes to the prevalence of the disorder; about 75% of people with narcissistic personality disorder are men."

My soon to be ex-narc says he will NEVER beg me to come back after I “abandoned him” and I should be pursuing him because I’m the one that left the marriage. All the while he’s telling me that I’m the most selfish person he’s ever met, I’m a phony and a hypocrite and I never loved him. So if I’m such a “terrible person” why would he want me to pursue him?? It’s mind blowing! I’m free from the chaos of his control, manipulation, blame shifting, gaslighting! The only thing I’m pursuing is a divorce!!!!

We totally understand. Sometimes this is because the spouse is PROJECTING their thoughts about themselves (low self-esteem) onto YOU. Stay strong and advocate for yourself!

I just received my first invoice from my lawyer. Her hourly rates were market related and she supposedly gave me some discounts etc. When I received my first invoice, she was true to her word about her rates and agreed upon fees. But! Let's talk about where the lawyers actually make their money. She's charging me for each WhatsApp message I sent her. Each email I sent her. Emails that she receives. Emails that she CC's me on. Each tiniest interaction costs = $4.5. i.e. I asked her "to confirm what you said last: I have until [Date] to respond? That silly question, cost me $4.5 Another example: I sent her docs and managed to not attach the docs. She asked me to resend docs.. That cost me $4.5. I am screwed. I can't get angry at her or ask her to explain herself. Otherwise I need to start fresh somewhere else. Also: the first invoice charges ME for opening an account etc. WTF? I don't need an account opened. I can do this without an account. But I should be charged for the admin that you want to do ? Lawyers are the very worst. It reminds me of the joke: What do you call a 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A: A good start. It's only funny before you start working with a lawyer. After, it's common knowledge. 😬😣😭

My husband admitted to giving some of our savings to his girlfriend while we were separated. Our savings are in a money market account that I have no access to. He handled all of the finances. This happened sometime in 2017 or 2018. How can I find out how much he gave her and when. I can't afford a forensic accountant and I'm going through a divorce now. He also told me his is living part time with her and is paying her 3000 dollars a month for room and board. I believe he gave her money from our savings for a down payment on her home, but I cannot prove that. Is it allowable for him to pay his girlfriend 3000 dollars a month to live with her? Meanwhile he sends me only 1000 dollars a month. I'm 65 and was a stay at home wife. I have health issues and am having trouble finding work. The only assets we had were the savings and his income. He has spent the 300,000 dollar savings we had .

I am a senior that supported my family for 45 years. Wife is 4 years younger than myself. I basically paid all expenses for the first 35 years. Wife saved her income for our retirement. She did feed us and buy clothing but basically she saved or invested her income. She reached a point that she said she was not going to feed me anymore that I could pay for my needs. I bought and paid for the house and the cars and major repairs to the house. She has the nerve to say that while standing under the roof I paid for. Needless to say I filed for Divorce. She has hidden all her money and I am basic ley starving.

This is happening to me right now. It’s so sad, so unequal and devastating when your ex cuts off your finances so you can’t get the same quality if any representation. I’ve been doing my own financial/asset investigation, have found SO SO much hidden assets and fraud yet I still can’t get my attorney who also treats me like my ex did, to go after him because he says he doesn’t want to upset opposing council. I’m devastated and will lose hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions because of it

does this info relate to someone who's never been married. Who's worked a job when CS was ordered but has since started a business. But is stuck working a job and running a business part time & can't grow because he's stuck at the job because of Child support so he can't quit the job?

Alternatively, find a law firm that has singled out a lone expert in a particular field. For example, I am proud to be the forensic economist of choice of three law firms in California, Nevada, and Utah. These firms have already performed the sifting process, saving you time and money in separating the wheat from the chaff. Best of luck finding your expert, Counselors. Thomas A. Climo, Forensic Economist, Las Vegas, NV.
