    The new cans i've seen have a production date and expiry date, they only list it as a 2 year life. But they unofficially say it's ok for 5 years past the marked expiry which makes it a 7 year item if bought new. No doubt pushing it out to 10 years is ok, but beyond that i think the quality will be really impacted. Not likely to make you sick, just not pleasant.

    I love my Kobalt Pole Saw - 80-volt - 5-ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Saw. No cable. Using an Oregon Bar and Chain. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. I carry it all over our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front. I am also using (2) Kobalt 80 volt 18" Bar Chainsaw and using the 5 AH Batteries. Cuts huge logs great. The first one wound up in a puddle and stopped working but after a couple of weeks and it had dried out, it started working again. For oil I like to use Ryoby Bar and chain oil.

    @@JackHunnicutt It is a pleasure, with the arrival of our new president Javier Milei, we have returned to the World. Starlink has been operating legally here for no more than 2 months. If you have port injection, you can buy non-top tier gas, but it would be smart to add an injector cleaner to your tank, a few times a year. In case you didn't know, BP isn't listed as Top Tier because sometimes it has the additives, and sometimes it doesn't.

    You really don't have to use top tier gas unless you have a GDI engine. GDI engines need ultra clean injectors to keep carbon from building up on the valves. Even with it, a bottle of Techron, twice a year, helps. I always look for the cheapest Top tier station.

    we have a pipeline that brings plain gasoline and fuel oil to a tank farm where they store it and mix in different gas companies additives package and the right amount of octane improvers. but the problem is the truck taking the gas to the stations takes it to all the stations and the gas station can request any fuel they want not just what's on the sign and the delivery truck may not be delivering what they asked for but whatever they mixed up in tank that day. so going to name brand station or generic station may be exactly the same gas.

  • @JackHunnicutt
    @JackHunnicutt7 ай бұрын

    The Top Tier additives would make the fuel more expensive and I'm not so sure it would be inadvertently delivered to a discount station for a lower price. But I can't prove it one way or the other but if you get a tank full of bad gas I'm more confident a branded station would be more likely to take responsibility and help with repairs. Thank you for watching and the comment.
