Went here every summer with my parents in the 90"s. Owned a timeshare. So many memories. Great times. Wish it was still around to share the experience with my daughter. Drove past this past summer and it's all gone.

It looks nothing like that now. They put Rocks on the Beach where it was sand and I closed down boat rentals and moved on with my life. Well I guess not all the way I still scream and yell at management to fix obvious things and they just block me and try to remove my comments... Seriously though this pics are old almost everything looks like it fell apart since then...

This place is real magic. We speak of the big rocking horse in the sky after our 1st trip. My entire family is there now & I kinda am too. After one trip you will always have a happy place to go to if say a home burns. It really is a magic place!

I love going to Villa Roma! I’m actually going there in May, and I’m so excited! It’s really fun and I love the fact that they have a schedule of activities everyday! Also it’s great during the Summer! 😁 I enjoy doing things like bingo, watching the shows, and seeing Doc, Joy (his wife), Katrina Love during the Summer, etc. I’m extremely glad my mom heard about this place back in 2019 (when we first went)!

Yeah, the criminal element is making a statement there, and vigilance to keep it out is imperative. I lived in the Bald Eagle Mtn.s back in mid late 70s @ a town called Lock Haven . We to the University there , Lock Haven University.

First of all, I have waited a entire year to stay here. The photos are beautiful and close to Enchanted Rock. I was very excited to stay here for New Years weekend with family. We booked 3 rooms total. Drove 700 miles to stay there. The photos are very professional and the beginning of the catfished experience. Buildings in disrepair with multiple buildings that look abandoned, trash on grounds, at least a dozen or more feral cats on premise with cat feces noticiable, and general feeling creepiness. There was no one at check in. Just an envelope with last name and keys. Our first room had a padlock as a lock for the room which could easily be used to lock someone in the room from outside. The room was dim, shower small and dingy. The second room deemed pet friendly had a very strong odor of mold, the couch was visibiably filthy and had a dumpster smell to it. I was only able to stay in that room for approximately 15 mins before I developed shortness of breath and my face became flushed. The toilet in this room did not flush unless the lid was removed and plug manipulated. The 3rd room in the "lodge" appeared clean but door opened to public area where saloon/pool table was. I was on the property for 45 minutes total. Never saw any staff to address these issues with. No cell coverage to call management. I saw one unidentified male who questioned me about what lodge room I had and asked if I had registered my dog. I assume he saw me through a camera bc this is the only time I encountered this person. Being unable to walk my dog d/t all the feral cats on premise, unable to tolerate the room that caused me to have shortness of breath and unable to find anyone to address these issues, I left and reserved rooms at the Hilton. I was finally able to reach someone who told me management would call me the following morning. Several calls and 4 emails later, I finally received an email (unsigned) on Monday stating no refund would be given and that "there was no smell and rooms were in working order". I did not drive over 700 miles to leave my destination and pay more money to stay in a motel. I don't have existing medical problems that would have caused shortness of breath. The redness in my face was not relieved for almost an hour after I left the premises. My complaints when addressed 5 days later were dismissive at best. This place is a health hazard and has been reported to the Texas BBB.

I had the worst service . I booked my daughter s wedding we were so happy. Then they returned our deposit and sent a letter with no reason. They would not return our calls. I believe it's is because I have a service dog who is very well behaved and my friend who came with me is Spanish. I called a number of times and asked to speak with the owner but staff would not put him or a manager on the phone.

I’ve been going here annually since 2016, and oh lord it’s awesome. I come from minnesota, and the drive here is only 4 to 5 hours. It’s a cute spot to stay at, and you’ll have a good time with something, guaranteed.
