Hello my name is Jake Siegel.
Check out my Instagram phx_sub_railfanner.
I am a Railfan of the desert south west located in Arizona, mostly covering Arizona railroads. I do travel as much as I can to explore other states and bring content as I go. My channel features all class 1 subdivisions at almost all locations throughout southern Arizona, as well as short line coverage in Arizona. You will also find videos from Southern California, including Beaumont Hill, Cajon Pass and Tehachapi. Lastly, I have extensive coverage of New Mexico and the El Paso areas of the south west. In the year 2022 I was fortunate enough to make 2 trips 3 weeks total of time visiting the Montana Rail Link railroad which is also featured in my channel as a 5 part series and I highly recommend watching!
Cameras: Sony FDR AX-100, Canon 6D Mark ii, and a DJI Mavic 3 pro.
Please give credit if you share my videos or use them. Thanks for viewing and enjoy!

Nice me and my friend caught it in different areas, both of those vids were 1995 leading
Amazing to see a NYC engine out West? You also using a great camera
The railroad that refuses to die! Nice to see these near 60 year old Alcos still slugging it out.
Nice Catch Union Pacific Is Planing On Storing Those Exact Engines So At Least You Got To See Those Engines Before They Become Obsolete!
I flew drones and chased trains on Sullivan's Curve for many years; several other location near Mormon Rocks and Summit Valley.
Great editing and excellent shots. You should be very proud of this video. Thank you for sharing!

Great video! Running there 3 ex NdM, Nacionales de Mexico :)
Grazie.
What camera did you use for this video?
Great perspective of the terrain the RR navigates.
I was in Flagstaff around the time this was filmed. First and only time there so far. I managed to film a few trains. Really good railfanning out that way. You got some better footage from that angle than I did at the station. Great video.
WOW!
9:01 beautiful sounding.
As the DVD company Pentrex showed us, Southern California truly is one of the best places in America for railfanning. With the Cajon, Yuma and Mojave subdivisions, landmarks such as Cajon Pass, Beaumont Hill and Tehachapi Loop, other lines such as the Surfline and Fillmore and Western, as well as steam excursions by Santa Fe 3751, it’s impossible to get bored in this region.
Great shots.
How many trains run on the Phoenix sub?
Good morning but good Evening
Nice
Nice!
Great to see footage of hopper cars with KCLX or KCPL. That was Kansas City Power & Light, the company I worked for over many years. Brings back memories, especially since the company does not exist anymore. Others were OGEX, Oklahoma Gas & Electric.
Is this horn a 2nd or 3rd generation?
How can we are
We are going through this and I are not sure what you mean nowadays is not an option for ❤
For a few days of work for ❤99
Send them over seas so we can't defend ourselves from the Chinese coming in from Mexican border. They are already here and on the Canadian border waiting till our equipment is gone 😢

Wow! What an amazing video! Extremely well done!!! More, please!
Are these FXE units PTC equipped or is the Nogales Subdivision PTC exempt? This is the only place I'm aware of in the US where FXE units are still leading trains.
Here and el paso are exempt.

With a Beaumont Hill bonus, I see.
Watched many railfanning videos ,camera angles are great
Can't hit the like button more than once unfortunately. Absolutely beautiful!
I look sensational on you and a very good hunt and above all a very good activity
Can Ferromex locomotives even lead trains? They don’t have PTC
They can’t really lead trains anywhere in the country. There’s only a few subdivisions that go into Mexico that get them but not many. The UP Nogales sub and BNSF El Paso Sub get FXE leaders often
I’m pretty sure that not mixes freight because it was all box cars
Nice video
