I HATE the clown 😂 Working on getting 6th job now, so hopefully I can get that done and make the next video. 😄 Hopefully doesn't take me a month 😅
@@MapleNRD I'm still not 6th job, not even close actually lol. I started Maplestory mid-March and I've been trying to use all of these events/free xp for legion/link mules instead of main. I also refuse to grind one a single character, in a single map for hours lol. So my main is a Pathfinder at 231 18k stats but I think i have just about every link I need and around 5k legion.
@@BackByDesign Yeah, I played exactly like that my entire Maple history 😅 That's why this time I'm doing my best to stick with one and actual focus on a main character progression. Almost 2 decades of my life, and I just kept making new characters and really played socially early on. 😆 Hoping to be able to do some of these new mid to late game bosses. 😬
@@MapleNRD yeah I can’t play games like that, I get bored too easily. I wish I could though cause in most games it really ruins my ability to progress but here it doesn’t feel bad. I’m not someone who will ever be able to log in and use my 2 hours of free time, in the same location, same character grinding xp or something. As much as I want to, I’m not sure I’ll ever make it to the actual end game bosses here where party play is required. I’m loving watching your progression and videos though. It gives very good perspective to the variations of progression overall.
@@BackByDesign yeah, I think with the account based system in Maple, players like us still get a sense of progression, because we get rewarded for making multiple characters like skills and stats. Those of which makes all characters feel stronger. 😆 That was my favorite thing about starting a new character on my other account because the legion bonuses and all the link skills made me feel like I was power leveling 😂 Tbh, I would have never reached 260 without the hyperburn event. All I did was my dailies, weeklies, and experience events to level up. I don’t think I had to sit and grind much at all. I’m really feeling the grind mentality now that 6th job and sacred symbols are something I have to work on. 😅 Remember that games are for fun! Don’t burn yourself out. I'm about a week into a reboot account and am dreading the clown fight lol. Thinking I should probably be past level 200 but kind of need gear to do that
Well I hope you're enjoying yourself so far! Maplestory is a great game, but then again I'm very bias 😂 The Maple Anniversary Event right now has some really good set bonuses, maybe look into that to help you out with the boss fight? 🤔 Wish you the best of luck! 😄
@MapleNRD yeah, haha. My main is set up like a boss mule right now until I can start farming CRA and then look towards other bosses. I need to get a bunch of links and then start working on a little legion. I don't need 8k right away, but at least enough to get some damage buffs going
@@umburon Yeah, Link & Legion going to be what I focus on once I finish getting 6th Job. Only going to do Weeklies for symbols and boss crystal mesos, then just train Legion characters probably. Good plan! Best of luck 😁
Love your contents! May I know how long it took you to reach 260?
I was training using the Hyper Burn Event, where it lets our character gain +2 levels every level up, so it took me about 3 months. 😄

Yeah, I played the game since 2005. I had some videos on an older channel back in 2015, but I didn't play/know the game well enough for me to make that many videos on it. Mainly did Minecraft 😅

I said I played off and on, which a lot of Maplers have and it's different from the example you're giving. 😅 It's really up to the individual to trust the person saying anything online. I'm here to share my experience, and I understand it's not for everyone. 👍
@@MapleNRD its just that somehow majority of maplers say they played since beta,2005,2006 then only like have videos of post big bang or nothing at all.
@@user-xp8wk1zt2p Yes, I understand. 😄 Maplestory is an old game. I cannot speak for everyone. I just know I would play for a year or two, get burnt out, come back when a big update drops, play for another year or two, and repeat. 🤓 I've met many other people who played maple the same way, who would stop and come back after awhile, so to me it's very reasonable when someone says they've played since a certain time. 🧐 I'm definitely no expert in the game, and that's why I'm making videos on learning the game all over again. 😅 At the end of the day, it is up to you who you want to trust or watch 👍

I truly appreciate that! I’m doing my best to edit as much as I can. Having a family, wife and 3 kids, and trying to play Maple while making content has proven to be a challenge 😅. Comments like this though really motivate me to keep it up, so thank you so much 😄
@@MapleNRD no worries at all, I completely get it. I dabbled with the idea of KZread just to prove to myself I could and it was rough. Similar to you, balancing time for my wife, my son, errands, school, full time work, actually playing a game and then doing edits/thumbnails/recording is exhausting. So kudos to you!

Is there a burning event going on right now?
No not currently, the one I participated in was from the winter event. I heard that there’s usually a hyperburn event during the two major updates every year. Which are usually Winter and Summer, so there may be one coming this June 2024? I’ve read some people will work on Link and Legion mule characters while waiting for hyperburn. Some people will work on a main to level 200 and save mesos in preparations to hyperburn to lvl260. Hopefully this info helps, I’m figuring out Maple as I go 😆
Sounds like it’d be fun if we get a guild together of everybody also starting fresh, could be fun helping out when we all gotta do bosses eventually
There are a lot of guilds starting up on the new server, definitely a great idea. I am working towards being able to boss for more gear progression right now!

Was this recorded/started a while ago? How did you do a burning character?? I’m a returning player from the pre BigBang days and just came back. I keep hearing of hyper burning but I don’t see it anywhere.

Yes, this was streamed during this past winter. Hyper Burn Events seem to be pretty regular from what I hear, so if you're thinking about playing again, definitely keep a look out for the event 👍
