I am Chris Fairtex, an undefeated Muay Thai fighter who has a Muay Thai addiction and suffers from Random Muay Thai Syndrome (RMTS).
RMTS is the involuntary application of Muay Thai and excessive use of the word "Ohweee", particulary in social settings.
I have been training Muay Thai for 13 years and in this channel I will pass onto you everything I have learned and experienced.

Ive been using my original Twins Special gloves for 13 years now, and it still in good condition! No cracks and no tears whatsoever. It's one of my best investments. Quality is assured!
Hey I’m new to Muay Thai but have been doing callisthenics for a few years have you got any workouts or exercises that will help with me improve
I started bodybuilding and stopped because punching was stiff. No im 80kg at 5’8 with some body fat and training Muay Thai 6 days a week hoping to fight next year. Not eating terribly (a lot of Thai food haha) my weight won’t budge. Feel strong though and that’s alright
Dayum your legs are MMM🔥

Anybody know where to buy twins gloves in the USA? Nakmuay isn't selling to America right now
Ladyboys
hahaha i have these thoughts daily
Has this guy ever even fought or does he base his whole life off somehow making muay thai cringe
@teepmuaythai all you do is say oowee like you somehow wear out the joke and post cringe memes. It would be acceptable if you actually fought.
To fully answer your question, I don’t fight, I do this purely cause I just love the training and the way it improves my health (the same way someone who loves lifting weights but doesn’t compete in bodybuilding.) On top of that I just love making videos , I always have, so my content is mainly for the ppl who just love the training, that’s all, and I understand my style is not for everyone. 99% of the people that follow all my pages know I don’t fight and they absolutely don’t care. I’ve used my content to help gyms promote themselves and build more members and to help fighters promote their upcoming fights because these guys go through a lot and they deserve more recognition . This brand has allowed me to link up with the biggest fighters, promos and gyms in the world. Right now this brand pulls in close to 10k per month (revenue that is) but it isn’t my whole life as I have other businesses and revenue streams running in the background that do better financially.
@teepmuaythai understandable but my question, why not fight?

Can anyone recommend 12oz gloves for under 100$?
Is that in USD ? If it’s USD I think you can get fairtex BGV1 for that amount or venum. Just know the cheaper you go the protection you get around the knuckles and wrist tend to get poorer
Angry vsauce
ahahaha i just looked him up ahaha good one
😂
ahahahaha
Both are kinda shit, but id personally go for the twins. BUT, i don't understand why they don't make their gloves, fitting in a way that my knuckles hit first. Its always a bit curved in a way that i will hit with my finger bending joints. Sick of it.
What glove will you recommend?
i currently have the twins special fbgvl3 (same as the one featured in your video, with just fancy designs ^_^) and the fairtex bgv9. i like the longer wrist cuff of the bgv9 and i'm aware its a pair you don't want to use for sparring (unless it's that infamous boxing dude or a "dojo stormer") any experience with the fairtex bgv5/bgv6 as far as sparring goes?
Elbows are much more better than upper cuts when your in close. Clinch and elbows
Yes 100% agreed, I’ll have to do another one about this
I just don't want to laugh 🤣😂🤣
Bro i just tested that, but she didnt seem impressed, she just stayed on the ground unconscius. Weird cuz i swear the uppercut was perfect
😂😂😂
#soyboy 🤣🤣🤣
Taronga's most wanted
Love the twins. Got a pair of black 14 oz, had them since the start of this year and there isnt a scratch on them, none of the logo has worn off not even a scrape from hitting the bag with them, only issue with them is at first they feel tight but after tgat they fit perfectly
I got 16oz red twins for sparring and they're mint for sparring and I've got 12oz primo leather in red for pad work. IMO twins are great sparring gloves but avg. bag work gloves they're too open and make you're pu chest softer. Absolutely love them for sparring though so good for clinching also
Haha relatable
I ain’t telling a muay thai fighter that he’s wrong 💀 I believe it

Hey, I got something. If you combine Muay Thai BJJ and even wrestling, it'll make Muay Thai more terrifying
I've got Twins Specials that I use for sparring and I find them tight around my fingers. Enough so that after some time my fingers go numb. It's not my wraps, it's not how I wrap, it's the gloves and how they fit. My bag gloves are cleto reyes and they're about perfect. I love those. I'm about to pick up some BGV1's to replace my Twins and see how they fair.
Yeh the twins special are really compact gloves, lots of padding around the fingers and knuckles. I found with the fairtex gloves , there is more room for the fingers
@@teepmuaythai Also, frickin love your content! Thank you for your service. Your switch kick is improving
Yeah my twins 16oz have a right hand compartment. But imo bgv1 aren’t good sparring gloves, the padding is compact and dense that It’s like hitting your partner with a piece of wood. Bgv1 better for training, it gives good feedback on the pads and back.
Let's see that switch kick OWEE
Ahahahaha
LMFAOOO
Hey man as an Australian, where are you finding those gloves at that price? Also great review I used both brands and they are so phenomenal
Yo man , I structured the sentence wrong, I was trying to say that the twins will be 30-40 dollars more expensive than the Fairtex gloves . The Twins gloves are about $190 whilst the Fairtex you can get around $150. The gloves I’m holding here they sell them at Cabra Fight store in Cabramatta
@@teepmuaythai thank you bro, I was curious cause I was like dangggg they are mad cheap. Sounded like pre covid prices hahahah! Thank you lots bro
Love it bro ❤
Elcheikh smashed him to bits 😂😂😂
they should make it so it has no external thumb, so that nobody gets poked in the eyes
Does that happen ? I actually never heard of this before with Muay Thai gloves
@@teepmuaythai happens a lot in boxing, so i would assume it happens with those as well.
Fairtex gloves let you fight bears and sharks
Ahahahaha
Twins 16oz in black for sparring + Fairtex 10oz in red for bag/pad work = Elite combo
Just curious, howcome you don’t use the 16oz on the bag and pads also ?
@@teepmuaythai I do occasionally use the 16oz on bag and pads for conditioning but I find that I can work on my technique and get a much better feel with the 10oz
This is the way.
@@teepmuaythaiI find 16s on the bag or pads feels gross, I like the 10s so I feel my knuckle drive in.
I like sparing in 10/12 oz
If the gloves have your last name on them….well….they win every time 🤣👊
Ahahaha this is true
Classic
Any tips for someone who wants to train Muay thai but super nervous to do so?iv been powerlifting and wanna incorporate something new a fun. But shit scared to start.
Thought the same way as U when I first started at the start of the year, when I say it's one of the best things I have ever done I am not joking. Tips I can give U are, 1. be consistent ( I have only been doing it for 5 months but am a bit better then people who started it the same time as me because I'm there alot), 2. be patient, your not gonna learn everything really quickly and the most important tip, 3, say ooowweee after every kick to give it 30% more power 😂
