Hello Everyone and Welcome!!!
So my Channel is all about cooking videos, home decorating on occasions such as the holidays. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas especially; I love creating tablescapes, a little bit of gardening and occasionally some d.i.y's. I love mixing it up a bit from time to time and love everything home decor.
I am very family oriented and enjoy bringing to you these types of videos.
So guys it would be truly appreciated if you "Like" the videos that I bring to you because that helps my small channel to grow and gives me great incentive as it takes dedication, time and resources to bring you many more good quality videos.

I followed the recipe for the hard version;why was the texture dry.
I wrote a children's book in 2017 that includes this Bajan dish - "A Piece of Black Cake for Santa." The Bajan child left jug jug for Santa (in stead of cookies). This is a great recipe to share with my readers.

5:40 Thanks for the amazing recipe ♡ 9:00 Stir constantly until all of the water has evaporated 9:28 Cook for at least 35 minutes. 9:40 Cook at medium till all the water is cooked out then turn down to low 10:00 Still until the water is gone, then turn the heat down a little lower and when it is dried out add more water. Keep repeating until you get to the texture you want. If you want to cook it softer just add more slush.

Yes I am bajan and some do but I don’t know it’s necessary when you already have the flour that is to my mind enough to bind the mixture, but I don’t profess to be an expert.

Do you sift your cake flour???

Helpppp tried making these but my dough was soft and sticky, followed your measurements exactly. Could it be the kneading? I used the dough hook , but notice now that your instructions says use the paddle hook. I'm confused. Thanks
Hello Momdooks, uuuuhhhhh ooooohhhhh! I beg your pardon, yes I did say in my notes the paddle in error but you are correct to use the dough, as you can see plainly I used the dough hook and the directions say to knead for 5-6 minutes. You don't always get it the first times, sometimes it takes lots of trials and errors. Try again my friend 🤞🤞🤞Xo
It is a shame that no one else noticed the error but thanks so much for pointing that out, I will go in and change that.

Usually I'm unhappy 😢 whenever I watch ⌚️ 🙃 one of your tasty recipes 😋 and not able to taste, however, on this occasion, because you're back home (Barbados) I'm not only unhappy 😂😂😂 but jealous because I'm not there. Great 👍 tips 👌 as usual and fantastic 👏 to see and hear the responses from some of those who enjoyed tasting your sponge cake. Especially Tony, he looks just as excited as a kid in a candy 🍬 store.
