Why can´t you show us, how you load horses?
How much is this kit ?
Currently (July 24) for a 1150 Double height, with ABS lid and spare wheel = £1798 inc VAT
You don’t seem to have the c400 trailer can I ask why?thanks Sara
Hi Sara, We can order in a C400, but we tend to find that if a customer needs the floor area of the C400/C500, they also appreciate the extra load carrying capacity of the C500. The price difference between the two is not large, so most customers prefer having the twin axle option

My vehicle has the 7-pin (only) socket fitted, due to the fact that it is only wired to supply minimum trailer light requirements. I understand that if you wanted the additional wiring to supply the socket with Live Power to run fridge/leisure battery charging etc., then the 13-pin socket would be required. I know there is a 7-pin (only) plug to fit into the 7-pin (only) socket, as well as a 7-pin (only) plug configured in the 13-pin layout to fit into the 13-pin layout socket. What I cant understand is why there isn't a 7-pin (only) socket configured in the 13-pin layout, so that you could visibly see that the socket is only capable of supplying basic trailer lights, but could still plug in the 13-pin plug, but not have the addition electrical feeds, but at least you wouldn't need to be buggering about with adaptors etc. Just another way of getting you to spend more money eh? Or is there another stupid configuration inside the adaptor that switches pin feeds? I bet there is. Standardisation? Nope!
Great explanation thank ykh
Thank you!
Buenos días valdría para una renault trafic spaceclass.. Gracias
We have not fitted to a Trafic SpaceClass, but we know it fits the Transporter and the Vito, so I dont see a reason why it would not.
Hi Tim, Thank you for your comment. The issues you have flagged are not something we have experienced. Not sure if you raised this with your supplying Dealer at the time, but hope you are enjoying now.
I brought this same trailer and it’s just what I needed and so easy to tow. I use it to carry ride on mower and gardening equipment. Only niggle is the electrical system was all corroded and didn’t work properly, the interior light fell off and it does sweat inside and make things wet. I brought a new electrical tow socket from a caravan place and sorted the electrics. It was brand new and shouldn’t have needle it. It spoilt what was a good trailer.Brought from Blendworth trailer Center
What coupler is that please? How do you service and adjust it? Could you do a video on that please?
The hitch on this trailer is a Knott KF13. All of our Trailer Manufacturers would recommend servicing of a trailer every 12 months or 6,000 whichever is first. A service on a trailer with us takes approx half a day and covers everything from the hitch, electrics, tyres, taking the brake hubs off and checking the shoes and operation of the brakes and suspension.
ich suche schon lange nach passenden dachträger für anssems gt750vt2 für dachzelt welches model könnte mann verwenden??? Vielen dank für ihre hilfe😊
Hi, If you have a 211 VT2 we would normally fit a Thule Wingbar Evo system 150cm long bar with 7104 feet.
Thank you for that easy walktrough, are there tiedownpoints inside to secure cargo or is that not possible?
Many thanks. The breast bar mounts (broadly in each corner) would act as a decent tie point. If you needed something lower down, these would need to be fitted (suggest a nice flush mount so when you are in "Horse Carrying mode" they would not be intrusive.
Thank you
Can you show a video actually storing vertical?
We do have this pre recorded model of the 1150 with mesh being stored on its back. If this doesnt show teh rpinciples you need, please let me know and I can record one of the XL with ABS lid. Thanks, kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2mOuriMqdPNpdY.htmlsi=SjSAwJj-nPnJAhLc
How strong are rhe struts for the lidd?
Thanks for this video i am new to towing and about to get my 1st trailer for camping
Many thanks Andrew. If you need any help or advice re option, please do let us know, our email address is [email protected] For us, we tend to go for Anssems GT HT / VT range or Brenderup. Anssems are awesome is you are looking to place bikes on top of the trailer or Brenderup provide a great volume of space with a lockable lid with their 1205XL with ABS lid model. Happy Camping!
good video. thanks
Many thanks!
Hi, I bought my 1150 with the side extension fitted, can you show/tell me how to remove them? I don’t have instructions and the retailer is not in business any longer, thank you.
Hi, Step 1 is to remove the front and rear tailgate extensions. there should be a split pin in each set of hinges. if you’re,I’ve this the tailgates will then slide off their hinges when open and can be removed / set to one side. the side panels are then attached to the trailer by front and rear corner posts. if you remove the two retaining bolts (each corner) the sides will then lift up and out. hope this helps!
I assume you need 13 pin electrics on your tow vehicle if you are towing a caravan ?
If your Caravan is modern (post 2012) 13 pin on yoru tow vehicle is advisable / easiest.
So what about 7s and 7n?
Hi, If you are towing a caravan built prior to 2008, it will have two plugs (one Black and One Grey). The Black is to power the lights (as a normal trailer would), the grey is for all the ancilliaries, such as fridge. This 2 plug system combines the single 7 pin 12N electrics socket with a 12S electrics socket. Adapters are available to convert from a 13 pin tow vehicle to the twin system, but my personal choice in this scenario would be to change the plug on the caravan to 13 pin style - avoids the need for an adapter and tidies up the whole wiring position. You do have to get used to operating the 13 pin plug and use, but once up and running in our opnion they are better. Hope this helps.
Hi There. I am confused as to why you can't stand the Anssems trailer on its end of you put something under it. Or am I missing something I can't see in the design? Really keen on this model to use as camping trailer with a rooftop tent mounted on it. Yes with the additional prop stands. Thanks.
Hi, As you say the Anssems trailers have not been designed to stand on there end and as result they do not have load bearing points at teh rear of teh trailer to take the complete load / the lights are not protected (whereas the Brenderup 1205 are, as they have specific load bearing points). If you did wish to stand the trailer on its end, then you woudl need to factor in - how to protect the lights / when to carry the load. I am sure there is probably a way of creating some kind of dolly to receive and take the load of the trailer, but this is not something Anssems offer.
I wonder would it fit 4 wheels plus some instruments box for the track day
Would a long horse fit In it
I have this trailer and i absolutely love it ! And yes it rides amazing on the road
Thank you. They are genuinely a pleasure to tow - great for the load, but great for whoever is driving too!
HOW MUCH COST THIS TRAILER ?
Do these make their way to the US?
Hi, I am afraid not. The trailers are built for the European market and in particular the hitch size and electrics are in different formats to the US market - sorry!
Does this come with aluminium planking on the inside?
The Cargo 1300 model is GRO body all over. If you wanted aluminium sides in a trailer of this size the C300 model is the one to look at. We have a video review for the C300 model too
@@bigbeartrailersoutdoor1127 Thanks for the swift response! Yeah looked that way in your video but had seen what these guys had done to their trailers and was wondering how they attached all the internals. I guess they must build their own internal skin to mount! kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5WZsKyMcdCyfKQ.html The C300 looks nice, i'm 6'3 so the idea of being able to stand inside is very welcome. Never driven with a trailer before (considering moving from a van) - so perhaps i'll have to come and visit your showroom to see them in person.
@@OSR_1 At 6'6 I can empathise - Due to your height I would definitely recommend the C300, as you will stand up with ease. You are very welcome to view.
@@bigbeartrailers ok great. Thanks!
Are these sold in USA??
Not as far as we are aware. Very much a European product, due to tow hitch size and electical set up.
I guessed that 13 pin connectors would have..... 13 pins. But this video hasn't told me the difference. I mean what are the advantages of 13 pin - why did it change etc?
Hi, Originally 7 pin was the style fitted to all basic trailers - this was sufficient to feed all your electrics. If however you had a caravan you had two x 7 pin sockets - one for your lights (as per a standard trailer) and one to power all you ancilliaries - Fridge etc. The newer 13 pin style came about for a few reasons - 1) Reverse lights were introduced to trailers / caravan (so an addition cable / pin would be required) 2) There was a desire for caravaners to have just one plug 3) The original 7 pin plugs are just push in and as a result can slide out - the new 13 pin style pusshed in and then rotates by 90 degrees to look it in to the tow vehicle. In my opinion 13 pin is the way to go on vehicles, it is future proof, allows you tow a caravan / trailer, plus has the benfit of locking into the tow vhicles socket and you will ave a feed for a reverse light. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to have the horse rear facing?
Hi Linda, Unfortunately not, the trailer is designed to be diagonal / herringbone format with the horses facing forward and to the right.
Hi thanks for the vid. What box trailer do you recomemd for 2 bikes one large and one medium size bike. 700 pay load needed.
Hi, As a minimum we would recommend the C500. If you wanted even more width / length then you could go up to the C700 model. Hope this helps
Thanks for this technical video, it's including all facts and dimension a customer need to know. Greetz from germany.
Hi Ian! Is this C300 box trailer easy to move by hand with 2 people? Many thanks! Matthew
Hi, If you are on a hard surface 1 person could move this trailer by hand. If you were on softer ground / gravel I would say two people would still be OK. Hope that helps!
@@bigbeartrailersoutdoor1127 Thank you Ian for letting me know! Thank you Matthew
I can count pins. Must people want to know which to use when.....
To try and help. I would always recommed a 13 pin plug on a tow vehicle if planning on towing (now or future) a Caravan or a larger commercial trailer. By doing so, not only will you have the 13 pin plug that twists to engage into the tow vehicle, but you will have the feed for a reverse light and also the ancilliaries (for a caravan)
That was really good thank you - I wont have any probs now as my confidence is high.
Thank you!
Excellent video thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you!
150kg unofficial rule on loading rails? Is there an official capacity and is that 150kg a static or dynamic load??
Hi, 150kg would be the max load on top, that is a static load. This load also needs to be taken into account within teh trailers Gross Weight of 500kg.
I don’t like the fenders with the dip in the middle. That is a trap for a horse that might paws. Otherwise nice.
Thanks SueEllen. The Mudguards are rubber, but are not brittle so flex if they were to come into contact with anything.
@@bigbeartrailersoutdoor1127 Oh, that’s better but I live in FLorida and things made of rubber deteriorate quickly in the year-round intense sun.

So pleased I just watched this as I was just about to order one but looking at all the bits inside that impede for my needs plus the weight on it’s own oh well back to ifor it is just wished nugent done a trailer like this
Hi Mark, Thank you for your comments. If you dont need 3500kg MGW it might be worth loking at the Debon C700, The suspension on these is absolutely superb and they handle so well. If we can help please call on 01832 770 888 or drop us an email with your requirements to [email protected]
Great video! Thanks for this, it's really appreciated. When I come to buy a trailer, you're the guy I'll be coming to.
Thank you!
Thank you Ian. Just what we needed today. Managed to get 33 bales of hay in trailer 👍🏻
Pleased it helped!!
Thanks for all this information it's great 👍
Thank you Martin!
Smart trailer
Great thank you so much
Nice review! Can the bottom tailgate also be taken of to transport long items?
Thank you Raoul. Yes, the lower tailgate can be removed - there is an R clip each side ahd with this removed the hinge bar can be taken out and lower tailgate removed
great informative video too. thanks 👍
Thank you!
I know prices can change all the time but would be nice to know :)
Hi, As you say prices are changing quite often, which is why it is difficult to incorporate in the video's / description. Current price of the Crago 1300 is £5,340 inc UK VAT
Do you ship parts to the USA?
I am sorry, we dont ship to USA
I picked up my Debon C500! Great trailer but let down by some very poor sealant application! I’m also fuming because seller of this brand new trailer thinks it’s OK to advertise his business by riveting 3 of his advertising plaques into the aluminium and you can even see the rivets on one plaque showing small dents on the inside of this trailer!!
James, I would be interested to know where you bought your trailer as we do not rivet advertising plates to any of our trailers - can you confirm, please? Have you taken this up with your supplying Dealer directly?
@@bigbeartrailersoutdoor1127 Thank you very much for you reply! I will be in touch. It was of course not your company! 🙂
