Long day mate. But worth it. It’s all about the banter, lol all in all it makes for a great day. He was lucky not to go over the handle bars.😂

@Mrtattoo0010 it was a long day, with a fair bit of road riding, but weather held out. Just keep an eye out, we have a charity ride coming up on 21st April approx 80ish miles

Hi Julian, after a number of punctures I’ve now opted for mouse’s. Peace of mind of not having to worry about punctures. Cheers hopefully see out on the trails soon.

Great vid, thanks. Is it possible to get the app to act like a sat nav i.e. the map keeps scrolling rather than having to stop every couple of miles to move the map in the screen to show where you are. Hope that makes sense
Yes it is possible to do that. You need to play with the compass and the red circle underneath the compass. I advise you to try it in the car to get the settings right.
... Great way to welcome the NY, big old group, but nice considerate riding! My son and I are planning some trips down to your neck of the woods after watching your vids. We were looking at parking our van in Market Lavington then striking out from there, but do you know of any good places to park there or elsewhere? Any help much appreciated. See you on the trails!
Market Lavington is only small with only a tiny public car park. Lots use Tilshead Water Tower car park, there is a video on the channel showing where that is. If your on Facebook we do have a page called Salisbury Plain Trials Enduro Adventure bike group, regular ride outs, guiding you across the plain. It’s a mine field due to areas where there is live firing

How do you find the byways so you can plot the route ? As with this you have to kinda know exactly where they are
On OS maps byways are marked as green or red crosses +

The Plain is amazing, but I don't think you can beat Wales.
Totally agree, different terrain, only downside is all the gates

Relatively new to all this but love it and live Salisbury. I usually fill up at the service station in stapleford and head to the plain from there - when do you all head out? Any chance of a tagging along on a ride with you guys?
