  It looks like Cb was the one who disconnected Pearl, was he trying to get her to crash somehow? Or was he trying to protect her from the hazards and GB and Electra fighting? Also another thing that is odd is that CB is usually the one who causes GB and Electra to crash (albeit with him accidentally getting caught in the crossfire) but in this he’s trying to stop the two from fighting

  CB tried to get Pearl killed, because he was being a chaotic piece of work, as usual. But, him trying to break up the fight is pretty odd. Maybe he just wanted to get out of the tunnel, before they blew it up?

  If the Starlight Express gets rebooted again, I’d like for the final race to be something like this. (With dialogue from the racers, that is. It made it easier for me to make sense of what was going on and really drew me into the action.) May Jesus bless you all and lead you to Him!

  Now you’re all wondering; “Why isn’t this filmed like the other races?” This is because they didn’t have enough time to film the third race so as you can see, they had the fight begin so the race would be cancelled before it even begun.

  Using pre recorded footage for the race sequences is a smart idea to compensate for the fact that not every theater can have the mutli million dollar setup Broadway had.

  Smaller venues where the rails didn’t go out into the audience like Germany so it’s an idea to still bring the show to the audience using 3D Film

  I think cb tries to stop greaseball and electra from fighting before Rusty passes through and knocks them all down with his arms because he’s tired of their bullshit, at first I thought he just knocked down the other engines but it looks like cb went down aswell Edit: also the sign appears to be a warning of possible hazards of parts of the tunnel collapsing, or an electricity warning

  It’s the opening number, but usually broadway shows do their best songs on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade/Tony’s/TV appearances. But a lot of shows will do their opening number. Some I can think of off the top of my head are The Book of Mormon- Hello, The Addams Family Musical- When You’re An Addams The Lion King- The Circle Of Life Spring Awakening- Mama Who Bore Me Hamilton- Alexander Hamilton A lot of shows will choose their opening number as it typically has the whole cast in it to show off and there are usually no major spoilers that could give away too much of the plot of the show.
