  if you think about it, beck is the only person who has any sort of control over jade. and throughout the series it's made clear that he's the only guy brave enough to date and treat jade like an ordinary girl, which might be the reason jade loves beck in the first place

  Didn't start watching clips until after reading McCurdy's book but as an 80s kid I have to say that a lot of this writing wouldn't be out of place in a primetime sitcom back in the day. No wonder it was popular. Also, I'm in awe of how accurate the couples chemistry is in the "slap" segments. For actors so young, they've managed to capture how a lot of young couples genuinely seem to bounce off each other when they're in love. I've seen stuff like this in real life.

  10:14 u can just see how much they loved working together as stiles and malia, dylan and shelley KNEW how perfect the characters were for each other and how unique and beautiful their dynamic was, it’s always such a shame when the writers of a show u love make bad decisions for the story instead of going with what just makes sense. stiles and lydia were not meant for each other romantically because lydia did not feel the same way as stiles did and like dylan said, that’s just life and sometimes thing don’t work out how u want them to, and malia came in such a perfect timing i just loved them so much
