  They do. My wife hates ketchup and believe it or not I don’t eat beef or pork 😂 my wife is the connoisseur of the food part and I’m the connoisseur of the deserts and drinks we sell.

  For this spot we didn’t. It’s just an open parking lot. They aren’t very strict where we are at. We do now have a spot we pay a space rent for and we go to Oakland on the weekends

  Your setup looks great.... Keep at it.... Try not to float to many dogs , to keep wast down , customers will wait a little for a great dog, as you go along you will be able to judge how many.... The best of luck.... I'm 75 and thinking of opening another cart to stay busy.... I miss talking to all the customers , customers are the best part of vending.... You'll see...

  I’m from 209 too, you should check out Chris red hots and New York style dirty dogs. They usually put the mustard on the bottom but it’s brown deli style, they also use sabrettes which I never heard of or tried yet here on the west coast. Also I usually get the basics from Costco such as mustard ketchup+relish and onions but on the other parts of the world.. it’s brown deli mustard on the bottom with hot onions and sauerkraut that’s the staple of a New York or dirty style dog. Something that we don’t offer here or even seen before in our area, you should give it a try and put everyone on game. It’ll be a good business. They offer toppings such as cheese(more like a cheese wiz style) ,hot chili which has beans, mild chili which is more like sloppy Joe style. Also the onions they use are usually sautéed with tomato paste. You should check it out t
