Wolf Overland

Wolf Overland

Hello KZread! My name is Jason and I am a Overlander.

Its not all Taylor Swift music, Roof Top Tents, and Max Tracks! Its about getting out and exploring, camping with friends and meeting new ones along the way. It is more the journey along the way rather then the destination. Weather you are on a dirtbike, cargo van, new or old 4wd truck or car its about getting out and having fun, take notes on what went good and what needed improvement and try and try again until you find the balance!

I started this channel to document a few trips to the mountains to camp with my son. Something that my family did when i was a kid and still have great memories of our trips. While researching places to camp and cool things to see I fell on to a few "overlander" channels and it just clicked. Family, Friends, Campling, Modified Trucks/Cars, and the whole "survival" and beautiful remote places a equipped rig can take you.

Drop a comment on my video subscribe and share to help grow the channel. ❤️

Mine wasn’t overheating yet but I went to run some water through the fins and dirt was rolling out. I bought some lime scale remover and diluted it some. Sprayed the fins while cold, let it sit a while then repeatedly rinsed but I was using a garden sprayer right up on the fins. What did you use to turn water towards the fins? Best I could get was about 45° from that garden sprayer but it was a super slow process to finally get the water coming out clear.

The fact that a road whose purpose is to provide ingress and egress to those property owners who own property on the road was graded is a non-issue, or should be, the fact that anyone would be opposed to that is disheartening. As an avid off road enthusiast for over 50 years I've seen far too many closures due to increased upkeep due to overuse.

My pro's and con's (trying to be positive here). Cons- they damaged trees while leveling the trail? Not what one would expect from the state. Cons- not super challenging any more but also likely more slick when soaking wet especially since all the dirt is above the rocks. Cons - possible that non responsible individuals with only two wheel drive vehicles might go out there on weekend nights and pollute the campsites with cans, trash, condoms, and more and ruin it for the rest of us. PROS - leveling out the trail pushed dirt back to the edges and will make it a little safer and likely give us a little more footprint for the run off to make new challenges. PROS- It's still a great little trail for the colors in the fall especially if you time it just right. PROS- as you stated, better level than closed.
