  Flossie the shoes got dirty because of a “sand rain” it happens often in Spain, the air from the south brings dessert sand from the north of africa that stays in the air (we call it calima) and when it rains it falls and everything looks dirty :( so don’t worry! It was just sand, it goes away with water 🫶🏼

  Thanks for being real about pets fouling indoors, I’ve felt like a rubbish parent and embarrassed when my dog does the same and plays up too, somes behavioural such as if a doors shut on her when visitors come and she does the rain thing too. Glad I’m not alone here!! Btw my dog is fully trained and knows it’s bad/naughty. She also is very capable of waiting. But animals have their own minds too ❤

  Omg don’t ever feel like a bad parent :( as u say they are animals and not just these brainless companions and they make their own mind up sometimes 😂 I love her all the more for her stubbornness and wouldn’t change a thing about her - I think us fellow dog parents understand each other with regards to that ! All that matters is they’re loved and cared for which I’m sure yours is xxxx

  I’m a young dog mum too, the first of all my young friends and it’s so nice to see someone online doing the same thing! Definitely couldn’t do it without having my parents to watch her when I’m away which I’m so grateful for. Love that you talk about Ida getting overstimulated, my dog does too and even though she’s really well trained, she gets quite barky which I find sooo embarrassing 😅
