This is so nice!! I am just wondering, what do you do in movement class? :)) This looks like a program I would be interested in, I have always wanted to study abroad in London :))
Hi, Nina. Our admissions team can provide additional details on the program in London. Please email them at [email protected], or register for one of these virtual information sessions: go.rutgers.edu/mgsainfo
Love you Kathleen Tolan, lots of unconditional love, you are great
Hi! I was looking at the BFA in acting, but I am a bit hesitant to audition because I don’t know how much of a Shakespeare fan I am 😅 If you are kind of impartial about Shakespeare, is it still worth it to pursue this BFA program ?
Your comment made us think of Talli Basile, who was a student at Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare's Globe in London a few years ago. She mentioned that Shakespeare made her feel nervous. She felt the works were hard to read and "felt like museum pieces." Going to London 100% changed that. Here's the article if you're interested in her shift: www.rutgers.edu/news/rutgers-celebrates-20-years-shakespeares-globe-theatre-london. Honestly, actors of all interests are welcome in our program. MGSA actors use the Meisner technique as a basis to explore all styles of theater, ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary theater. Our graduates go on to work in a diverse variety of styles, including contemporary theater and jobs in the film and TV industries. If you're curious to know more, don't hesitate to sign up for one of our virtual info sessions or visit our Theater Department on campus: www.masongross.rutgers.edu/admissions/visit-us/.
@@masongrossschool Thank you so much! I'll definitely check it out.

Hi Gabby
Mason Gross
Phenomenal arrangement! Superb!
Lovely to see this, was a good insight into the program. Great editing!
Awesome song choice for the intro
I was always was curious how Kathleen prepared for her role in Death Wish a classic film. Her character was the saddest part in the film. How many assault victims actually degrade mentally from an attack like that?

When I was in the marching band in the 80s, our director, Dr. Berz taught is to sing The Rutgers Alma Mater in 4 part harmony
I relate to this heavily.

Woah! Rutgers has so many resources and supplies! 👍
IWS or Imagination Workshop Studio, our sister division, oftentimes collaborates with Film Schools. Do MasonGross Rutgers Film Students collaborate with Studios or other Filmmakers outside of the University?
Do the Film students, Make-Up Artists students, etc., collaborate with other Filmmakers? Throughout New Jersey.
Beautiful work - the program and the filmmaking. Bravo! Kudos to all involved!
In-person 👍👏 #NJFILM #NJTV #NJADVERTISING
Too bad for her, she will only be remembered for playing the violated daughter in death wish, and not her skills as a playwright
Do you guys at Mason Gross School of the Arts have anything regarding Stop Motion/Claymation???
David Lee Jones is FIRE!!🔥🔥🔥The whole band is killin' and nothing is lost by playing remotely. Great job!! Oh- and I'm of age to remember Spider Man!
Barbara Marchant was and always will be my favorite acting teacher. She has limitless support to her students. She keeps her commitments to them. Her knowledge is far beyond her years on this earth about life and the arts. Any student who crosses paths with her is very blessed. Her giving nature is without limits. I congratulate her on her well deserved position as the director of the Mason Gross School of the Ars. I have only heard positive words and gratitude expressed when her name was discussed among her students. Respect, luck, and love to Barbara Marchant.
haha! I am freeeeee!🎊💐🥳🎉😁
Wonderful work by the Rutgers team. Nice summer's day sound. Riveting alto sax solo.
Beautiful!
Congratulations to all!! Fabulous!!!
Beautifully done!
Bravi!! Loved every minute!
Always wanted to date her for real
Gotta go soon but wow this ensemble is great. Loved it! (APPLAUSE)
We have two projects currently in Development, series, that we'd just love to have this same troop do the music and sound for. That is if you'd be available? Who do we get in touch with to talk about it?
Ever see the '60s Mystery Drama whodunit shows HARPER (1966) or TONY ROME (1967)? Reminded me of the music and sound and even tone on those. Very good.
(APPLAUSE) although we don't prefer virtual or zoom, we have in-house conferences only. But great performance. 👌👍
Should have boosted the piano volume during the piano solos
Fantastic work! Really outstanding!
Very Cool overview and a nice "broad stroke" (pun intended:-) of life at Mg. Thankyou!
