Well done, thanks for the show. I agree, I have never had a stop loss. If you buy a good company it should be for long term. So why sell when it goes down 10%-20%. If the stock market only went "UP"" then anyone and everyone would only play the stock market and be rich.

Not even close. Your analysis is based upon a gold system that was abandoned in 1971. When you or a corporation apply for a loan, the bank evaluates its creditworthiness and approves the loan if their criteria is met. Once approved, the bank CREATES new money by adding a DIGITAL balance to your account. This balance represents the loan amount. Let’s say you borrow $10,000. The bank doesn’t need to have $10,000 in physical cash to lend you. Instead, they create a digital entry in your account. Money today exists digitally. When banks make loans, they create digital balances in borrowers’ accounts. These digital balances are considered money, even though they don’t physically exist as cash. Printed cash is only used as a lubricant for relatively small transactions. The banks operate under a system called fractional reserve banking. They are required to keep a fraction of their liabilities (value of their loans) as deposit reserves (physical cash or digital reserves at the central bank) until the value of the loan is realized (the house or factory is built and paid for). Here’s where it gets interesting. When you receive the $10,000 loan, you might spend it or deposit it into another bank. If you deposit it, that bank now has additional reserves. With additional reserves, they can lend significantly more money, creating even more money. This process repeats as the newly borrowed money is spent or re-deposited, leading to a multiplier effect. Let’s reexamine your initial loan of $10,000. The bank adds it to their reserve, and, in a 10% reserve system, makes a new loan for $100,000 because it has an extra $10,000 in reserve. Soon, the economy will be awash in dollars and too many dollars will be chasing too few goods and capital. The central bank monitors the balance between actual value and the money in a system. It sets reserve requirements and adjusts interest rates to influence borrowing behavior - encouraging it when there is less money than actual value (actual value plus value projected when loan projects are realized/completed), and raising rates when there is more money than actual value. By controlling the money supply, the central bank can stabilize the economy or address inflation. In summary, loans create money by allowing banks to lend beyond their reserves, leading to an expansion of the money supply. The amount of debt in the world will ideally equal the actual value of all things. As economies grow, total debt increases to the estimated value of everything. In a perfect world, total debt should equal total value. When the value of loans injected into the economy are out of balance, that is when things like inflation happen.

We were taught all our lives to buy our own homes . You pay a long time but eventually you own and you can borrow against it when times are tough . The idea that leftists billionaires are trying to keep young people from investing goes to exactly what Republicans say about the rich elites . They don't want people to succeed, they want to destroy the middle class. They want there to be elites and then a bunch of peasants that depend on them and serve them. Young people should take a hard look at the Democrats elites and realize who the real enemy is.

Buying a house only means you are renting from yourself. Do the math! All you have to do is multiply your monthly payments times the years you been there. And then tell me how much you really making! However the market is different now you can actually make money from Buying a house . Maybe when he said that it was during the time home values were stagnant

F*ck this conman. Dalio is a big part of the problem, and I need to educate Ray on what a populist is since all his brain can comprehend is how to steal M1 and M2 from actual working Americans and make obscene $$ off of speculation. A populist is NOT someone who wins at all costs, nononono. A populist by definition is leadership for or by the transparent citizen who plays by the rules of natural selection, or even basic traditions. Populists almost always never have representation by a ruling class, so really for a populist to make waves with the citizenry that simply just have to show up and do what they say they were going to do. Scumbags like Ray hate populists because he cannot get anymore obscenely wealthy than he already is with a populist at the helm.

The Prime Rate has to be 2% higher than the inflation rate. Otherwise your dollar will be devalued. This is a great time to borrow, if you buy appreciable assets. Lowering the Prime Rate during inflation is pure politics.
