I have 2 toro 60v batteries for mowing. 1 is 6ah other is 5ah in the spring and fall I have no issues, but when thick crabgrass happens in mid summer combined with the heat it gets impossible to mow and the batteries die or overheat way too early. They wont charge after they die, I have to put them in the fridge for at least an hour before they take a charge, then they take at least 3 to 3-1/2 hours to charge again.

Why use a board to keep the blade from moving? I always use a C-clamp and clamp it to the shroud on the inside. That way when you go to remove the blade with the socket, the blade then binds up against the C-clamp as you’re turning the socket to loosen or tighten the blade. It’s way easier than using a board. You can also use a wood clamp to do the same thing.
