You should try the 1/18 JJRC C8801 Jeep also known as the AUSTAR AX8560. It compares well with my TRX4M Bronco for a fraction of the price.

Cool, I have the gray C10. It had a bad ESC/Receiver, so I put a DUMBORC BL3F receiver in it which is intended for crawlers.

I hear you. I enjoy collecting the RC parts to my wife's disdain. You never know what you might need. I run my WLToys 144010 & 124019 at our local clay tracks, and half the fun is fixing them afterwards.

Nice, I just added some brass to my Deadbolt. I like how you cut the cage. It totally changes the look and gets rid of some top end weight. Cheers!

I must have got a bad set, tried to install them and it would just lock up the transmission……. I was definitely installing them correctly

Cool upgrades. I just ordered brass portal covers, diff covers and steering linkages for mine. I guess driveshafts and links would be next. I want to make it heavy before messing with the gears.

That's a wonderful collection. I am a like minded 48 year old. I agree with you on your opinon of the little Axials, but they are fun to chase the cats around indoors. I but a DumboRC receiver on my Axial C10.

Good tips I like to use a wet toothbrush to get the dirt off of the screw heads. Then I immediately oil the screw heads and dry them with a paper towel. If I run a RC and it gets wet, I dry it off with a hair blowdryer and then I spray WD40 in the ball bearings.

WPLs RTRs and KIT are trail truck first IMO, but slap some metal upgrades you can do some easy crawling.

I am a subscriber. I am a soon to be 48 year old WPL fan that has a 9 year old daughter. I am enjoying your relatable videos and bedside manner (pun intended since you are filming on a bed). LOL. Anyway, I have the Traxxas TRX4-M Bronco, but I do want to purchase one of the High Trail versions. Although, it's hard to beat even a stock WPL for the fun to value ratio that they offer. The WPL C-24 is iconic looking to me, and I have had good luck ordering parts directly from WPL. I am looking forward to your next video.
