I like my old fashioned with southern comfort
Instead of a 22 ounce big king cut filet , I would rather have 3 - 7 ounce filets, more char & easier to eat even though it is 1 ounce less , but I doubt they nail 22 ounces everytime on the big king cut filet, I probbly wouldn't eat there anyway after reading bad reviews since new owners took over plus We don't patronize ala carte places, I won't pay $ 20.00 extra for a baked potato & small tossed salad, my wife & I didn't save money to 7 figures spending/wasting money.
@petrenko2009 , my wife & I recently retired & are planning a foodie trip to Wisconsin & this place was on our list , has the place went downhill that far ? , I have already seen posts that said very dangerous neighborhood is that true ?
The guy that said he would drink it like coffee in the morning, lol, believe it or not, Google it, in Kentucky within about 7 states surrounding, we actually have a ground coffee sold in standard coffee cans & the brand name is " 5 'o Clock Coffee " seriously & is good coffee selling with other top brand names on the shelf such as maxwell house , folders, etc...
This is an older video & I have been told that new owner(s) have ruined this steakhouse, no reason why or info on that
Ala carte' sides is one of the worst ideas ever in a restaurant, I'm surprised some places don't have salt & pepper as ala carte'
I rarely eat at steak houses where all the sides are ala carte' , if they cannot make money on their steak prices & give you 2 sides ie: creamed spinach, salad , baked potato, hashbrowns, any 2 , they need a new meat buyer , if they have steaks to go I will pick them up & take them home while my wife makes our sides at home or vice versa
I've been to steakhouses all over the world and the United States and this is still my favorite steak. In fact, it's the only place, other than Ruth's Chris, where I order a filet mignon and although I like Ruth's Chis filet, this place beats it.
I love Martini, really miss My "Sherlock Martini". From your frinend, Sherlock.
Went there a couple months ago, hands down the best prime rib ive eaten. Perfect 10.

Five O'Clock Steakhouse is the BEST Steakhouse, anywhere! Bar none! - Craig Cohn - "Five O'Clock Steakhouse Ultimate Fan"
Don't miss 5 O'Clock steakhouse. Phenomenal steaks. A Milwaukee institution.
This is great, but it is just a molasses based glaze ...That's the secret, and yes, twice grilling the steak helps. I am surprised that they let this out in this video Quick grill them at High temp for only a minute on each side then do them rest.. I prefer to marinade my steaks in Scotch, and then marinate my guests for two to three hours before grilling and serving, that works well! ( The rest of the marinade is my secret but it does involve brown sugar, salt, and a bit of Balsamic vinegar.) Before the fist sear, I use a dry rub which only I and Colonel Sanders know -- it is not the same there is no sage As I said, they use a molasses based glaze, I add Bourbon ( for the sweetness.) and Worchechestor (for the tang). My Father went there. he liked it, but he decided that they burnt their steaks. We never had a good steak after that ! They were just burnt on the outside and unevenly cooked inside. For varition put some Liquid smoke in the marinade; I always add some fully-soaked fruit wood chips to the grilling process.
COLEY FOLEY SAYS: FULL EPISODE OF THIS IS ON RIGHT NOW...! HAHAHA!
Not really wild about that char sauce, anything that dark has to be bad for you. Probably has cancer causing stuff in it.
Nah
Congratulations to Georgia!
I was there recently and have not the past to compare it to. I was impressed! It wasn't cheap, but that's the point... it's a special place for special occasions... I couldn't eat their steaks every day or even week, it wouldn't seem special then. But those times when I do... worth the bucks and more! And the service was old school, friendly, and unique! Fun, hip, and great for a night out.
You were the best steak place over 5 years ago but not now. With new owners all went downhill. Meat cuts are not the same, thinner and smaller then they used to be. Consistency went down. Baked potato is extra $ now... I believe most of their cooks and stuff left after that big change.
Yes...This place*******SUCKS******* Now. So sad the new owners ruined it.
@petmycat2720 thank you pal for the info pal, to expensive to waste our money & time , sad that happened though
